I too have just had surgery with Dr Morey in Dallas at UT SouthWest. I had it on April 30th just a few days before you did. I had an hourglass indentation near the base on the left and have had to deal with this since about 2005 or 6. I can achieve erection but it's weak and leans to the side about 30 percent. I usually use cialis or viagra. I also have Type II diabetes though you wouldn't tell as I'm fit. It's managed and under control. I've had it a long time though and damage was done. It's been totally debilitating to my sex life.

The other Dallas doctors either told me to either live with it or in the case of a 5 minute examination by Dr Mark Allen (not Allen Morey), "I can fix it" and started showing me brochures for pumps. I left and didn't return.

My appointment with Dr. Morey involved another doctor with Dr. Morey showing up to ask me questions as well. His take was he could do a minimum invasive surgery to remove the scar tissue that was not elastic and preventing the erection from being straight. I decided to go with it. I was under by 9am and woke up by noon with an erection (due to a shot) that was straight straight straight! Since then I've been doing the same.. bandages for 7 days and minimum need for pain meds. The stitches will desolve in 4-6 weeks. I also have nightly erections that hurt due to the stitches and the fact that the bandage is tight lol. I have a good feeling that this is gonna work out.

Regarding cost, I have a PPO with a max out of pocket of 2600. I've already paid about 600 this year so my maximum cost for this operation will be two grand.  Everything else for the rest of the year will be free.

Additional NOTE: On request, my curvature was roughly 30 degrees with a lack of pressure. Dr Morey said some of the issues may be diabetic but we will see.

I split your topic that you can post your results on your own topic.
It will help other members to understand the surgery subject.
Please continue to update us.
Could you tell us some more regarding the minimum invasive procedure you had?
Wish you excellent results from the surgery :)

Mryan,

I'm not sure why you didn't try to "fix it" with a pump. VED therapy has nearly cured me, and many members of hourglassing and dents from Peyronie's.

Still, I don't know the nature of your deformity so I can only speak for myself and others.
I'm glad you are feeling positive about the surgery. Even after surgery make sure to do everything you can for penis health in general and make the best of it. Congratulations and hope you have a quick recovery!
