If you are referring to nocturnal erections, I wouldn't be too concerned. The main thing is being able to achieve an erection when you want one. If you get to where you can't achieve an erection then it's time to consider some help (pills).

I found that Cialis Daily really helped with erections. I wake every morning with one. You might consider it.

Have to check on that, I have bovine composit aortic heart valve and I am on plavix and small dose blood pressure medication because of that.
I am cleared for "pills" but will have to check on daily......
Prefer Cialis as I was able to get multiple erections vs. one shot for Viagra (for me) and Viagra only worked on an empty stomach as well.

Woke up with one this morning but Mrs Waldo was already downstairs and heading out the door!
I'm going to chase her around some tonight and see if we can consummate our new relationship.
LOL
Best luck to all and thanks for the support.

9 weeks today.

Still have not had the chance for the wife and I to try my new and improved tool!
It is straight and true, still quite a ridge from my stitches so we have been putting things off until things settle down.
But we are happy with the prospects for a great future.

PENETRATION!

She said it was nice to have me back.

Nice experience for us both, didn't stay and play for a very long, I still have a scar ridge and we both could feel it but it was so straight-we can't wait till next time.

Thanks Doc!

Norm

Way to go, Waldo! Welcome back to a normal sex life.

Congrats on your successful surgery outcum.      ;D

I had plication surgery in late 2012, and I have also been pleased with the results.  Penetration with a slightly shorter cock beats not penetrating with a crooked one any night of the week.

Eventually, the raised scar flattens out, at least it did for me.  I can feel the tunica bunched up and some of the sutures under the skin, which it is not objectionable, just something I can feel when flaccid.  My plaque can still be felt, and it still produces an hour glass effect and makes it difficult to sustain an erection.  The result is a penis narrower at the base than the upper few inches.  Neither my wife nor I have issues with how it looks; it works well enough for both of us again.

mmmmm....12 weeks later and I have lost the ability to get an erection without pills.
No more nocturnals and even direct stimulation from either my partner or myself results in close to nothing.
Kind of a bummer going from the bends and I could to straight and I can't....
Any of you guys experience this??

Sorry to read your post. It is not what we are expecting.
Did you went to your doctor/surgeon? What is his opinion?
What are the pills you are using for erection? Are the erections with the pills are satisfactory?
Sorry asking so many questions, I would like to understand your situation.

I have only reached out to my doctor last Friday and we will meet to discuss.
Admittedly I have been under a lot of stress due to a deaths in the family (mom and dad over the last 4 months) and a tremendous amount of change in personal, policy and procedures at work.  My own cross to bear I know; but I am pretty sure these have been contributors.

Waldo

Doc seems to think its due to all of my recent stress and wants me to try daily Cialis.
Check back in a month or so....
Let's see what happens!

Hoping things get better quickly for you Waldo!

Quick update, finally a good hard on with full penetration and a CONCLUSION!
That has been an experience I have missed for 5 years!

I went from 7" to 5" but who cares?  Some adjustment in stroke was made but I had fun and that is what matters!  Well her having some fun is important too but thankfully she is putting me first as we work through this.

Yeah, don't rush anything! After all you've been through it would be a shame to make a mistake now. Give your body all the time it requires to heal.

All the best!
Waldo's post was very encouraging as I am still on the fence about having surgery
My uroliogist has done dozens of them as day surgery  no catheter no ultrasound before op
My plan is to go back with a picture and more questions
Have read many good reports of this surgery on the forum
This forum is a great resource for this problem
