Hi,

I am 40 years old and was diagnosed with Peyronies last month. I was/am experiencing slight pain during erections and went to the Doctor because of it after about 2 months. I have no curve just pain. He told me to take ibuprofen and come back in January. He is taking the wait and see method at the moment and that scares me a LOT. He says as long as it doesn't effect inter purse then it is ok to live with it. I am considering getting a second opinion from a specialist. My wife is very supportive and at the moment the curve is not there. I am so worried not knowing when it will start to curve and how bad it will get. I am trying to stay calm but it is really weighing on me. I am glad to have found this forum and will read up on your experiences and let you know how mine progresses.

You should be worried and see an other urologist as soon as you can.
The WORST thing you can do is "Wait and See). I am sure it it was the doc problem he had a different approach.
You are in the acute stage and now is the time for aggressive treatment to stop the progression and reverse the symptoms.
