I've tried "flector patches" which are a method to delivery diclofenac over the course of 12 hours.  I was prescribed for tendonitis but decided to try them on my penis in case they helped.  Unfortunately they made my penis hurt more.  I have no idea why.  It might possibly be worth looking into a gel form but I have a feeling it probably wouldn't be too much different.  I've also tried ibuprofen gel but no help.

In some cases experimentation's may give good solutions,
but let's don't forget we are  not specialists, even we think we do and we can make big damages for ourselves!!!

James, I agree with you 100%. Regarding Diclofenac though, the Peyronie's study did include its' use and there were no adverse reactions reported. This is not to say everyone will do great with it, but it's something to consider. I spoke to my urologist about it and he had no problem prescribing it to me.

Topical Diclofenac was part of the treatment and all 5 groups included topical and injections of Verapamil and additional oral medications and supplements.
It is very misleading to state that the topical Diclofenac is what is helped because no one don't know.

James, perhaps their needs to be a separate thread somewhere on Diclofenac.  For sure it is not an oral treatment OR a urologist though, so it doesn't belong here.  But too bad if the discussion cannot be somehow preserved.  Also realize that highjacking is not necessarily malicious.  It often just happens innocently as discussions drift.  Which is why we all appreciate the hard work you do here in trying to sort all that out.  It is a relatively unseen, thankless, and never ending task with so many simultaneous ongoing discussions.  - George

It is connected to people making not necessary work for others that cares about the forum.
People should concentrate on the topic when answering, otherwise the topic title not saying nothing about what it is in.
