oral steroids for peyronie's
« on: November 01, 2013, 06:02:03 PM »

Are there any studies about the effects of oral steroids for peyronie's?  They are sometimes used to help with inflammation

I'd only ever heard of this study on injected steroids - Peyronie's disease: results with dermo-jet injection ... [J Urol. 1975] - PubMed - NCBI  and it was posited that long term use would be negative due to the tissue atrophy and thinning of skin that steroids can cause.

I had another look around though and found this http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0306987713004623 , which doesn't give much info but is a start.
