HI all,

I have about 25 deg bend. It is supposed to be acceptable to make intercourse with some limitations (e.g. no doggy style,...etc.) but my problem is pain during erection. Does pain during erection disappear after implant or Nesbit surgery? I've heard that pain during erection remain the same post surgery. Any input?

My curve is about the same.  It sounds like you are in acute stage.  Normally, surgery is performed when the disease is stabilized at which time the pain will not exist.

Even though it seems impossible now, the pain will eventually go away.  I know it is hard but hang in there.

No actually I got the injury from many years back and pain didn't go away. It decreased somehow and it's also variable! Sometimes I feel it and sometimes it's very minimal but it didn't go away and I'm on Pentox/Trental and other supplements for almost 2 years now.

The strange thing also is that the area of injury is till soft and did not harden. When erected blood doesn't go through it and it remains soft.

How many years? Typical acute phase is 12 to 18 months. However in my case I had erection pain in 2010 and my penis curved in 2013. 3 years later. I am not sure if they were the same injury. According to my uro some people have long acute phase. He thinks is the same injury and I had a long acute phase.

If you are on Pentox to years already and didn't helped you with the pain you should try some other treatment for the pain. Best is to see a pain clinic, they may have an answer.
Regarding surgery, usually it is not advised if your bend/curve is 25 degree, but for the symptom you are detailing of soft area, you may want to see a good Peyronies specialist.

My injury is from about 5.5 years ago. I don't t think that I'm still in the acute phase.

I went to the most specialized uro in my country for Peyronie. He's actually a surgeon and he does Nesbit operation only. I showed him pics of my erected penis and he told me never to do the operation. He was surprised how when he tested my penis he didn't find any hard areas and he thought that I have congenital curvature. But I assured him that I'm sure it was straight and normal before injury. All this nightmare started after injury only. So he told me to get married and to try to have sex and if I failed I should come back to him again to see what we can do....

Do you think I should make a visit to Europe to visit a famous peyronie uro or he'll just say the same? What is the pain clinic? physical therapy?

I forgot also to add that this pain isn't huge of course but it's annoying. It increases if I had pressure on penis like tight pants where it doesn't have enough place to erect,..etc. The more it's free the more pain decreases.

Also, James you said that you think about doing implant, no news so far? And did you get any improvements of the VED + supplements?

The VED and the supplements helped me to gain back some lost length and girth. Not too much, but any improvement is much welcome.
I am not sure that Europe is the best place for a top Peyronies specialist, even we have some European success stories. I was trying in the US. Make a search on  the link bellow before you take a decision:

Try to find on the forum what else except Pentox helped people with pain.
Sad to hear that the most specialized doctor in your country doing just Nesbit and nothing else.
Regarding implant with modeling, I am sure I will do because of ED and my deformities. The point is that I have no insurance and always when I have the financing for it, something more important is coming on my way :)
