Hi all, i injured my penis during rough sex in June 2011 and by November 2011 my penis couldnt get an erection anymore and it had started bending upwards. After seeing my doctor he put me on a succession of tablets, viagra, ciallis, which didnt help at all.Its taken till this July to finally get an operation to straighten it.After the op the end of it felt numb but has eased of a little bit.Now when my girlfriend gives me oral sex it does grow but its not solid. And when i attempt to have intercourse i lose it completely.I dont wake up in the morning with an erection and dont have any stirrings like i did before the injury.I think it might be psychological thinking i might damage it again as well as physical.Any advice would be welcome thankyou Lee.

As I understand, you have made a surgery to straiten your penis, not to solve your ED problems.
The doctor didn't told you before the surgery that it will not solve your ED problems?
Just wandering

That is a major mistake that doctors make, not checking for ED before doing straightening surgery. You should have been checked for venous leakage and ED first.

The only successful surgery for peyronies with ED is an implant with modeling. Copy the article called Mending Broken Hearts in the surgery section and take him a copy. That doctor does not know what he is doing I suggest you find another.

My 2 cents.

Thanks for the replies guys, the surgeon asked me if the bend or the erection issue was more important. He recommended straightening it first and if that didnt help with the erections come back and have the penile implant. Its very difficult in the UK to get the NHS,our health service to bother trying anything.Im going to phone him on Monday to have the implant done.It seems the way to go hopefully!!!
