Traction or VED

Hi guys, I have read quite a bit of the forums and would like a little advice.  I am posting in both the traction devices and vacuum devices to try and determine which would be the best for me.  I have a 90 degree upward bend about halfway down my penis.  It goes out about 3 inches and curves upward about the same.  I have no pain, and no trouble maintaining an erection, other than the shape.  I would be a very happy guy if I could reduce the bend to around 45 degrees.  My wife and I still have sex (infrequently) but it seems to be more work than fun now.  My urologist has prescribed 400 mg of Pentoxifyline 3 times a day and suggested a traction device.  After reading most of the posts, I am unsure of which would work best for me, traction or VED. Also, since I seem to have adequate blood flow to my penis, do you think the application of heat and massaging would help dissolve the placque?? Any advice you could provide would be most appreciated.  Again, I am only looking to decrease the angle of the bend so intercourse is fun again.

I think the key here is to do SOMETHING. It is hard to say VED over traction as there are various success stories with both. Most of the improvements I am aware of are in the 10-25 degree range. Which means you would need really good results to get back down to a 40 degree curve or so. But this is definitely worth trying. Worse case there are of course various types of surgeries depending on your symptoms.

I personally had a 70 degree bend and tried traction and Verapamil injections. Over time it was obvious that nothing was helping and I finally resulted to surgery. The surgery corrected me from 70+ degrees to nearly straight again. I'm very satisfied with the results.

Les, did you lose any length from the surgery? How are your erections? Do you take Viagra or Cialis to get and maintain and erection?

It is really not helping posting twice the same question on two different boards.
It is loading the forum with unnecessary posts.
I am suggesting to the board administrator to remove one of the topics.
Furthermore, the subject was already discussed here:
VED or TRACTION - Peyronies Society Forums
and in other topics.
Make a search before you are posting!!!

Les, thanks for the comments, surgery is probably a definite later on but wanted to get going with some course of action and reading your history helped with the concern over surgery.  Some scary stories out there regarding surgery, glad yours worked out so well.
