For the past month or so my testicles want to retract into  my abdomen right above my penis.  I can push them down and they go right back into my scrotum.  This happens the most after traction.  Does the traction cause this??  It is getting kind of aggravating if you know what I mean.

This can be a function of temperature and position. When you were born testicles are in in abdomen pockets (I don't know the medical term), and then  during the first few months after birth will descendinto the scrotum. But these pockets are still there. And if you are cold your scrotum (and penis) will constrict in size. This is the body's mechanism to keep the testicles at a constant temperature. So when you are cold the scrotum pulls them up, when you are warm the scrotum expands. Also lying on your back your testicles can slide back into these pockets cut should descend again when you stand up.

So could it be a symptom of your traction regimen? Like how and where you do it?

Testes are born in the gonadal ridge, which is not really a pocket but the analogy is clear.

An image is better than a thousand words so here's an illustration of the process

And finally the external genitalia

Panther, if you do not feel any pain, and if they descend by themselves when you stop traction. it is a normal process. However if they stay in the abdomen, you want to consult an urologist, it's really nothing but has to be fixed because you could get inguinal hernia. No big deal really. Just assess the severity. Mobile testicles is normal as lwillisjr pointed out

My penis and my testicles pull back into my body when I'm cold and/or in pain. Review what you are doing and adjust appropriately.

i have the same thing, but it only happens to 1 nut, and it only started happening after the injury, it seems to just sit in a semi raised position and causes quiet a bit of pain and discomfort, i remember the first time it happened i felt sick, i went to my urologist and told him about my symptoms and he told me to go home and everything was normal, what an arrogant prick. they assume just because I'm young that i shouldn't have any physical problems, what a stupid assumption
