Hi all, thank God I found this forum.

I am a 22 years old guy living in Malta, who went to see an urologist just today. My penis has always been slightly curved to the left and I've always thought that this is the way to go and this is the way I was born. However, a few weeks ago I started noticing something different which led me to start questioning my health and oh my gosh, then I started Googling. I visited a normal doc who didn't find anything, he forwarded me to an urologist in a private hospital to get peace in my mind since there was nothing to worry about according to the doctor.

Well, I visited this doctor today. He said that everything seems to be fine, however, he felt Peyronie like formation in the 'root' of penis and said that yes, this might be Peyronies. He said that it seems that my condition (if it's in the inflammation process) is not bad and I shouldn't be worried, but ofcourse when a man gets literally a kick in his nuts he is worried. So, what do I have: My penis is slightly curved to the left (even when not having an erection) and when having an erection, it's pretty decent but I can see a small hourglass effect in addition to the curvature. Last time I had sex was with my ex girlfriend an year ago and no worries were still present, even though I had this samll curvature. I started to feel some pain a few weeks ago, but I am not sure if I am just making it bigger in my mind as I just had this issue solved today.. The doctor said to me that I should take Panadol and vitamin E for a while, and if the situation gets worse, I should go back and visit him.

Can you guys please advise what should I do? It's mentally really challenging to have such issue as I'm in a situation where a new relationship would be possible (haven't had sex yet) and to be honest, I'm not too proud of my condition. Does anyone know any top urologists in Malta whom should I consult?

Thank you guys in advance and really, thank you for this forum for being exist. Have a nice weekend!

Sorry to hear that you have to deal with Peyronies in your age, but have what to do. The doctor advice:
Quotetake Panadol and vitamin E for a while, and if the situation gets worse, I should go back and visit him.
is not a good one. You have to act as soon as you can if you want to stop the disease from progressing and even reverse the symptoms. And the no.1 is to start with Pentox. It will help you with the pain and with improving the blood circulation into your penis.
Please read (if you didn't yet):
MUST READ BEFORE YOU POST - Information for new members - Peyronies Society Forums
You will get the basic information you need, unfortunately many doctors, including urologists don't have even this basic knowledge in the subject.
