Dr. Paulo Egydio in Brazil, Sao Paulo.

Hi, i just want to share my experience in Brazil with Dr. Egydio.
I live in Montreal and had an appointment for january the 8th with a specialist at the Jewish General Hospital, an appoitment made 8 months ago and 1 day before, i got a called from the hospital saying that the doctor was not going to be working that day and that my appointment is now for february, so i am very disappoited with this but i guess i have no choice but wait.
I decided to go see Dr. Egydio in Brazil because i wanted to have his opinion before my Canadian doctor appoitment since i was there for work.
I went to this very nice office and had my appointment with Dr. Egydio, he explain the causes and what i could do to try to fix the problem, he is one of the best doctors specialist in Peyronie's and he suggest me after an exam that i should do the surgery, for a moment i got excited but when his assistant came to give the price of the surgery i was in shock about the price, the procedure with a small hydraulic pump to give a better erection in future would cost about $38.000 dollars, so at that moment I was in disbelief and i left the office wondering how I could i pay for it all.
The  consultation cost was about $800 Dollars.
I have a good job but I am unable to pay this amount for this surgery. Apparently he is a great professional and i am here just to let you know that he is in Sao Paulo, Brazil and if you can afford his services maybe is a good idea to travel and have an appointment with him.
Now i am waiting to see this doctor here in Montreal and see what he has to say.

There are many excellent Implant doctors in the U.S., some that do hundreds a year and do nothing but implants.  Unless you have significant curve that would require additional surgery an implant will straighten you significantly.

Have you researched surgeons in the U.S. and Canada?

Also, glancing at your posts it looks like you can still have intercourse so I would question if it is time for something as drastic and irreversible as surgery since it seems you have not even tried more conservative treatments.

The best implant doctors ARE in the US. Also the cost is far less if you don't have insurance. For example:
Dr. Drogo Montague at the Cleveland Clinic can implant an AMS 700 LGX for $12,000.
Dr. Milam, Cool Springs Surgery Center $20,384.
They both are making hundreds of implants a year.
And have many others.

Dr Paulo Egydio is the inventor of the Graft Technique. He lengthen the short side by calcuting the correct amount of tissue needed in a geometrical way, then he applies bovine tissue. He got 98% of success in his surgeries, he's very expensive but is the top surgeon for peyronies curvatures. I saw a couple of his results by photo, they just look amazing. Unfortunately a procedure with him costs 22k+ and I already had 3 surgeries so I cannot risk anymore.

From what I can gather from your post history, you should not even be considering an implant! You still have a functional penis.

How drastic is the bend in your penis? Have you considered traction?

Assuming you were speaking with me (sorry if not), how Can I consider an implant at 25yo?! Fortunately I still have erections, but quality of them is not so good...
My lump is caused by a nesbit procedure, so it seems to stay there, no improvements or worsening.
A traction device is very difficult for me to use, I feel pain/discomfort after a few minutes...but I HAVE to use it, pretty sure it will help

hi there! i also heard about dr. egydio and his technique... i was visiting his website and i also had an appointment with him last year.. he really is an excellent doctor and he takes a lot of time for all of your questions... .. unfortunately it never came to an operation because, it may sound weird, but i had too much stress at work that i couldnt find a day for an operation.... well.. months ago i heard that he had devised a new technique together with an austrian urologist who is a specialist in Peyronies Disease and CC... apparently this new technique is very effective... heard it from many patients... i searched in the internet and found there homepage (www.acpct.com).. well... all in all i had an appointment with Dr. Kühhas because its nearer for me and i must say he really is a great professional... he explained me everything about the new technique and answered all of my question... think i will do the surgery there.....

Can you tell us some more regarding your problems and why you are thinking about surgery there?

I visited the website and I am without any opinion on it at this point, just some observations.  

I too noticed it is a brand new site.
I noticed they talk about correcting unsatisfactory work done by other surgeons, then say as they can fit it in with those initially choosing them, then later say they are unable to take patients that were first operated on by someone else.
The explanation of their technique is good but I think they somewhat exaggerate issues with a Nesbit.

It appears that surgery is their only approach.

I agree with Hawk that the site is somehow not clear.
And yes, they are concentrated on surgeries implant just AMS700, $US23,000
Maybe just recently the doctors decided to make a common website to attract more customers.
I hope we will have some members that have experience with them, other than Dr. Kuehhas.
