Find a competent Peyronies expert, your urologist is incompetent and don't know what Peyronies is!!!
The worst thing to do is to take Vitamin E and to wait. VED will help in many cases.
Read the board related to the treatments.
Let us know more about you Peyronies (onset, symptom's etc')

Well I don't recall any injury nor do I have rough sexual intercourse nor do I masturbate in a rough manner.  It's depressing . I one day felt a hard spot and some pain with an  erection I let it go for about two weeks before I made an appointment. It's been two months since my appointment and  i noticed the plaque has become bigger. I  know nothing about this disease, I've read a lot of the post on this blog. It's very overwhelming. My urologists said to start vitamin E which I have, I don't have as much pain (it could all be in my head) . She also said I could use a VED which I've never used or know how to use one or how often.. Etc. I'm reaching out to this blog I don't know what else to do. I'd hate to just "wait and see"  :-\

Let me start off by saying that you need a urologist that specializes in Peyronie's, NOW!!

As anyone here will tell you, unless your urologist is suggesting Pentox immediately, their medical school diploma isn't worth the paper that it's written on. In fact, if any urologist told me to just take vitamin E and wait, I would not take their diploma off the wall and burn it or key their car in the parking lot but I would leave and not pay the bill. Then, I would go online and alert people to the kind of uniformed advice the doctor is giving.

Get a Peyronie's urologist, bro, and stop messing around with urologists that are unqualified to treat you.

And get your testosterone and cholesterol checked as well. Your testosterone needs to be high and your LDL cholesterol needs to be low.

Then, report back to us.

"Wait and see" is the worse thing you can do. There are various treatment options on this forum suggesting what to do. Get proactive and do "something".

lwillisjr, like many others, I wish to God I had done something sooner. Now I'm pretty sure I'll be in a long-term war with this nightmare.

I've already made an apt with someone else however I can't get in until February 22nd. I'm very discouraged and depressed. Idk what else to do. I've done some research and its all the same, i don't know what to do . I know this wont go away on its own I just fear it getting worse from now until my appointment.. Ahhhh  >:(

I disagree. Vitamin E will not make it worse. But there is little if any evidence that it will make things any better.

I think the best thing you can do is to start either VED or traction therapy. There is no sure fire cure, but there are reports here of these methods helping some guys. If you are experiencing any pain then read up on a drug called Pentox and be prepared to discuss this with you doctor and request a prescription of it at your first visit.

What are your symptoms and what/who led up to your diagnosis of Peyronies disease?
