Hello, I am 24 years old, and I recently I had been masturbating using a pretty tight grip. and noticed immediately afterwards a new swelling. It looks like a one or two thin rings under the skin on the shaft, encircling my penis puffing it out a bit. The ridges are more prominent on the side. Visible when erect or flaccid, but strangely, if its very cold out, or if I ice it, the swelling goes down almost to nothing! It's been a few weeks with no change.

here is a picture

I have no pain, or erectile curvature other than what i've had my whole life.

Anyways, is this typical of early peyronies? Or just normal penile tunica texture changes...Does peryiones appear immediately?

Does it usually appear so puffy and visible? And without pain or curvature?

Please let me know if you can...

What does your doctor say?

Get medical attention ASAP if you haven't already.

To be honest, I think it might just be fine... I still wanted to ask here though. I couldn't even show it to a doctor really, especially since its only really kinda visible when my penis is deflating after erection.

I've been literally laughed out of the doctors office a thousand times for bringing in something like this.

I'd just figure i'd ask here if peyriones ever presents like this. Sudden onset visible puffiness only really noticeable when semi erect? And it goes away when iced?

So again, does anyone have Peyronies disease that started like this? without pain? just a visible swelling or two around the penis?

I realize it could be a host of other things, but just please answer if you are able. Thanks!

Norm

BD,
You really need to keep an eye on that. The importance of a fine tuned tool becomes critical when you are suddenly faced with the affliction of Peyronies Disease. You may not have it, but it seems to me that it always starts with trauma. We may not even know we had a trauma, but the more prone we are to getting Peyronies Disease, the less noticeable the trauma has to be. I do not believe it is just spontaneous. Just the sex act alone might be enough to push the borderline guy over the line. And it can present itself in various ways. Some have pain, some hourglass, some ED, etc.. All this is only my opinion. My advice is to watch it. If there is a change in your penis in any way, then pay attention to it.

Yes, I agree. If anything painful or erectile happens I would be freaked. Right now I just have a bit of an irregularity in the penis it seems.

Upon close inspection though, There are a lot of little ridges and stuff in the tunica (try pulling your skin tight to the penis when erect and moving it... its not completely smooth). I've had many of these bumps/ridges since childhood and I imagine some of them came from light trauma/life as well. Porn actors have them too. (its a dirty image, but if you want, google "brandon iron ribs", its the first one you see).

I guess my real question here is what does peyronies scar tissue look like? If there is any sort of irregularity in the tunica does one automatically have peryiones disease even if its not inflamed or cause curvature?

I just haven't seen anyone in this forum with my situation. It seems most people have a trauma then gradually notice an invisible deep plaque growing over months/years, no one masturbated forcefully and minutes later has a painless almost puffy ring, persisting for weeks. But am I wrong? Can anyone see their peyrones plaques as visible bumps?

I assume that is a gross over exaggeration.  If you have even been laughed out of a dozen doctor's offices it signals a serious problem.

Kidding of course... but I am an absolute genital hypochondriac unfortunately. I have been to the doctor/derm/uro many times for laughably ridiculous things. They are professional, but always give me the "roll eyes".  So I am trying to curb this sort of doctor overuse behavior.

I mean I am here specifically though because of Peyronies... do any of you guys (who are, according to many of the posts here, more qualified than doctors on the subject) think this looks like any sort of peyronies you've seen? It popped up immediately, is soft/rubbery painless, and is usually only really visible when my penis is "deflating" after erection.

Norm

Again I say, keep an eye on it. Trauma begets Peyronies Disease if you are already susceptible. I don't think there is a "normal and usual" for Peyronies Disease. There are about as many different presentations of it as there are guys who have it. If you are really concerned, I think a trip to the doctor is in order regardless of your history with them. One thing is for certain with Peyronie's , you need to take immediate action. I would recommend gentle massage except that you have not been to the doctor to rule out other causes, for which massage might cause harm. Short of a doctor visit, watch it closely. Good luck.

seeing as this thread has been here 3 days and no one has said it ever presents this way... I assume it doesn't. But I do understand your candor and concern.

its a visible ring around my dick, haven't seen a single peyronies story or picture with someone who has this ring around their penis... seems like someone would have said something on this or anywhere else on the internet if that were the case. I've been scouring for over a week.

Anyways. thanks Norm, if it does anything painful or I have erection issues I will immediately see someone. Over and out.

I have exactly those rings/ribs and they are the result of penis trauma and a symptom of penis veins thrombosed. Thrombosis occurs from the injury as a deffense mechanism from the body. Anywy my case its a lot worse since I do have pretty bad pain if I have erections and I have 4 of those lumps. Bear in mind when I had my injury 2 years ago the pain was a lot better or there wasnt any pain so you need to get an ultrasound and also in Pentox. Check my thread for more info on this. I am about to get the ultrasound and this tells you wheter you have scar tissue, thrombosed veins or whatever. I would put an image of my penis that its more telling that this but I fear I cant. This COULD have something to do with peyronies as I have an slight kink in erection and a bend in semi erection. Go to the doctor as soon as possible... hopefully this that you have its nothing to worry about.

I have to tell you I have researched a lot the topic and the reason why I say your case could not be worrying its that it seems some guys that do Penis Enlargament exercises do develop those ribs, especially from girth exercises, without pain or any erectile problem whatsoever. But I developed my injury from penis exercises so... I would have it checked!

yeah, this seems normal, literally tons and tons of people have these online. in porn, on message boards Just spent days looking at tons of pictures of these... people don't have problems with these so i am relieved.

Interesting though, soooo many people have/developed these light ribs... but they aren't just all peyriones! So I guess an imperfect tunica is not just peyriones by default... there needs to be big deposits of scarring swelling pain curvature etc it seems.

Also, I think not allowing pictures on this site is just incredibly limiting. What are the disadvantages of showing some dicks on the site? Would really help people understand/ diagnose the disease if they might have it.

Just generally not a big fan of the PG-13 attitude. Certainly has prevented people from understanding their condition or getting treatment.

To your question:
QuoteWhat are the disadvantages of showing some dicks on the site?
Increased unwanted traffic on our server to see those pictures.
Getting new members that they only want to destruct and disrupt as it happened to previous Peyronies forum that disappeared long time ago.
We have discussed the subject on the forum and we decided to have a child board to post pictures:
https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/board,47.0.html
Unfortunately not to many people had posted there :(

Off topic here--sorry--but the pics discussion did make me realize that this forum has done an amazing job of staying on target and being really helpful to all of us without a lot of other people trying to use it for their own purposes --i.e. to push their own websites or ways to profit.  Every now and then it seems like someone is trying to do that, but they stand out really quickly and usually get shut down.  Peyronies Disease is not a PG-13 problem for any of us; but if keeping the pics out also keeps out the noise and interference it's worth it.

I just looked at the link to the child board. It's marked as specifically for before and after surgery, so my guess is that this is why nobody is posting--but I also wonder if it's better this way.  There are plenty of places on the web for peyronies pictures.  It might be worth compiling some links in a single place if that would help some people.  But I think we should be careful to safeguard the integrity of this forum.
