After a small accident a couple of weeks ago my symptoms appeared to have improved. But now I am finding that although I am able to achieve an erection and feel pleasure during masturbation, I am not able to achieve an orgasm even after prolonged stimulation. Again, its not the case that I require moire intense or vigorous stimulation, because I experience stimulation but its simply difficult to have an orgasm.

When I looked this up online it states that the cause is mainly psychological. But I have never had this problem before and it happened so quickly. My worry is that I damaged my penis and this is what is causing the problem although I cannot find anything which supports this belief. And wouldn't damage to the nerves prevent an erection or any stimulation?

What could be wrong?

This is not a Peyronies Disease diagnosis site much less a general medical diagnosis site so the answer is, we don't know.  See a doctor.  Having said that, I know of no pens injury in which you retain sensation but can't have an orgasm.  Men that have all the nerves removed that are necessary for an erection, can still have an intense orgasm with a flaccid penis.

Physical and psychological stimulation trigger an orgasm.  In fact psychological stimulation can trigger an orgasm all by itself so if it still feels very good then some other pathway is interrupted.

So it is not likely that whatever occurred 2 weeks ago, is directly responsible? Its likely to be purely psychological?  During sexual activity, I have consciously been less vigorous for fear of another accident and damage. But if it is anxiety, why am I experiencing stimulation yet I cannot achieve orgasm? I doubt the doctors could figure this one out any more than anyone else?

I realise this isnt a general medical forum however many people get peyronies through a penis injury. Such people would be more careful from then onwards, and so I am curious to know if they also experienced difficulty having an orgasm which can be explained by psychological reasons?

Maybe you should find a sexologist, he or she may have explanations and treatment.
Maybe some other forum members have or had the same problem, so wait a few more days for answer.
