I agree with Jack, Dr Milam is one of the best. Fixed my peyroines by modeling with AMS LGX 7000 unit. I have a 18x12 inserts with 2cm tips. I am partially infated and over 5". Pain is/was minimul. The worst pain so far was pulling the cathetor out. The first two days were a breeze.

Do you mean one in the scrotum in addition to one above the penis?  Did he mention his method was different?

Every surgery and every blog account I ever read only has one incision.  Either scrotum OR above the penis base in the extreme lower abdomin. Both surgeries are shown in videos posted on this board.

sure, I was bandaged up pretty good and on dilaudid and percocet. I think I imagined the dr said it LOL.

Yes, My penis is showing more bruising today than yesterday. It was only brusing on the end. Now it is on one side of the whole length with brusing around scrotum also. Yesterday the scrotum was the biggest pain. Now the penis today lol. Manageable with med though. Been sleeping most of day off an on.

Today is day 4 post op. Yesterday was worst for pain. I am having a better day today for pain. Cut back to ibuprofen for pain. Scotum now has minimum swelling but discomfort some with pump. It is "above" testicles and to the right side. Felt a slight pinch in one position but nothing major. I pee with a semi inflated penis and flows decent but still not quite the flow as pre op yet. Had a small itch at incision so took shower and redressed. I feel good about the implant and thank God for answered prayers. I know I still have a journey but hey, my wife is looking forward to the new me down there too!

6 days post implant op. Pain is dropping and am able to sleep with our pillow between legs. It is more of just minor discomfort of the pump in scrotum. I am suppose to wait to 6 weeks to start pumping. I hate thinking of scar tissue building. I may be tempted to inflate/deflate a tad a week or two before. I guess I need to be patient and not get to far ahead of schedule. Anyone ever pump some before 6 weeks?

Every doctor is different.  I have also heard surgeons say that patients have come in admitting they already used the implant.  That might be on the video at the top of the surgery board.

But the safest approach is not to rush it. He would know if the risk of scar tissue build up was a bigger risk than pumping early.

Do not rush the process. I had an implant performed in 2009 & recall being at the same state you are in now. Your body is recovering from major trauma. I can assure you that pumping before 6 weeks will have no effect on scar tissue buildup. If Dr. Milam is all that I hear he is, his instructions should be followed explicitly. Trust me, it all will come together

11 days post op. Things are going well but still taking it easy. I do miss working out but... The location of pump on right side above testicle kinda shows in scrotum. I have seen some get unit kinda behind testicles. I doubt that works for me seeing I go low hangers. I am not sure about trying to move it much. I have tryed to free it up a little and persuade towards the center but not much effort. It has not moved. Bruising is going down. My doc told me to point penis up then down. Splitting the time. The issue is I am semi erect and it is uncomfortable to bend it down so i keep it up for now like most in past have done.

Do you mean it is visible because it is protruding against the scrotum? Some doctors make a big deal about trying to place the pump/tube so nothing can be seen or felt with normal intimacy.

Yes it is quite noticable. My testicles hang low in my long scrotum so it pulls the scotum tight above testicles which outlines the pump.

Hit the two week mark and other than the current location of pump in scrotum, I feeling really good. Do not even need ibuprofen. I guess when they pump it up, I might re visit discomfort but I look forward to it. I am so glad I chose dr Milam. I am starting to get excited about puttin this thing to work

Congratulations on your recovery. What instructions or restrictions did Dr. Milam or the PA give you about masturbation until the 6-week activation?  How often are your follow-ups, every 2-weeks, or what?

Because it was another plane flight his nurse told me if I felt ok and no signs of infection, no need to come. I do have to visit at 6 weeks for sure. No sex till after 6 weeks. My birthday is the day before my 6 week visit with Dr Milam. May have to try that thing out a day early

I had one pre-op visit, the op visit and will have a 6 week post op visit. Unless there are some big issues, I will go to ALbuquerque Urology Associates from here. Let me tell you the three plane tickets were worth it. Dr Milam is quite good. We did not have sex but my wife aroused me some and my glads already have blood flow. My head doubled in size and girth expanded mostly on bottom of shaft the whole length and I am just pumped up a little by doc. I measured approx 6" at that time. I feel blessed for sure. About 1500 in plane tickets and 400 in hotels but I am glad I did it.

I take it you did not have anything approaching total Ed prior to surgery.

The ONLY way I could get a hard on was with Staxyn or Cialis. I have had ED for about almost a year. When that stuff kicks in, it was hard but I had peyroines 90 degrees. I think this contributed to the ed but no leakage or other ED issues.

My point is that however your glans responded before surgery it should respond after an implant.  If you had total ED then you would not expect your glans to get blood flow after surgery.  If oral sex before surgery would get a response, then you will get a swollen glans with stimulation after the implant.

I see. I quess I assumed that the "trauma" of the surgery made it take time to get it back but that makes sense.

ScottNM,  I'm assuming you had to fly from NM to Nashville for your surgery.  If that's true, how many days did you stay in Nashville post-surgery?  Was the travel back home difficult or painful for you?
