Hi .

Ive had Behcets disease for a long time it played heck with my genitals I started showing signs at 12 years old so you can imagine the effect its had.Im now 35 and about the last 2 months ive noticed the penis has really started hooking to the left.I know its crazy of me but after they warned me about the scar tissue buildup before im dreading telling them about this now.

More recently when im getting erections in the night the pain is waking me up the erection wont go away for some weird reason until I shift direction in bed then all of a sudden it just dies away in seconds. The only 'abnormal' thing ive also noticed when im sitting on a harder surface the penis of course is totally flacid theres a terrible pain on the left side of the Glan and 2 big veins will appear and its almost like someones injected the stuff from the dentist on that side it goes all numb then severe pain.I know this must sound crazy but if i explained to my doctors what ive written here do you think they will understand?

the pain from erections really is getting quite miserable now I think deep down because im talking about an aspect thats not really cropped up with the doctors of the penis in an Erect state its always been about the ulcers/ or severe bruising with a vein bust etc.
Any advice you can give would be really helpful I dont know why im feeling almost ashamed to talk when in the past ive had no problems in other aspects

Many thanks

Andrew

What you are detailing it may be Peyronies or may be not, but you need urgently to see a doctor to know what it is and to begin treatment as soon as you can. The urologist can determine if it is Peyronies by physical examination and by ultrasound while the penis is flaccid.
If it is Peyronies, the best chance to fight the disease is to begin treatment in the early stages.
It is not necessary to wait to see the doctor to begin treatment. I will advice you to begin taking some supplements such as L-Arginine, L-Cartinine and as you are younger than 40 CoQ10 (for older people, Ubiquinol is better). It may help with the pain and stop the disease from progressing and even revers it.
The first line medication for Peyronies is Pentox (Trental) but it is a prescription drug so you will need a doctor to prescribe it to you.
It really helps also with the pain.
I will advice you to read as much as you can on the forum, it may help you to understand this disease and what you can do to treat it.

I would like just to add two things:
* The supplements I have mentioned are over the counter and don't need prescription and they are helping with the health in general so it will be beneficiary to take them, I am quoting from his answer to an other post:
Quotethey are unlikely to hurt you if it's not Peyronies Disease by chance
* Many on the forum that don't have ED are taking also low dose Cialis, have testimonies and support from some leading Peyronies specialists that it helps dissolving the plaques associated with this disease.

You decision to see a doctor as soon as you can is the best thing you can do.
