Hello everyone. This is my first post here, i'm 33 and I think i've just developed Peyronies Disease.  I've been reading all day as a guest and just registered for an account. Great forum btw, these types of places where people can go for help I think are one of the best things about the internet.  Anyway I have a couple questions regarding Peyronies Disease.

I first noticed something weird in about April of 2011. For about 10 years I had a pretty bad addiction to porn and masturbating (sometimes 4 or 5 times a day) which was causing many problems in my life so I decided to quit masturbating completely. I also wasn't having sex so I was completely abstinent from orgasm for about 3 months for the first time since about age 12. Around this time I started noticing these little white lumps about 3-5mm that looked like they were just on the under side of my skin near the base of my shaft on top. They might be inside a vein, i'm not really sure. They weren't painful or anything, they were just there.  I would usually just massage them out in the shower and they would disappear after a few days to a couple weeks but would re-occur every few weeks ever since.  Since there's no pain and they come and go I haven't been very worried about it, I thought maybe it was just semen that had no where else to go (probably totally wrong on that). Also I should mention for the past 16 months I've been going periods of weeks without orgasm then I'll binge for a couple days and then go back to abstinence...ya I know, probably not healthy but addictions a bitch. Then about 2 weeks ago I had one of my porn binges and the next day I noticed that I had 3 larger lumps deep in the middle of my shaft.

From what i've read on this site, the first part with the small lumps under the skin doesn't sound like peyronies but the internal lumps definitely do. Erections are slightly painful when I bend too far downward but nothing has changed curve-wise or with sensitivity...yet. I've always had a slight curve and it doesn't seem to be any different but maybe I just haven't noticed?  Could these 2 symptoms be related and maybe be something other than Peyronies Disease?

Also my second question, is it possible for a 30 year old injury to cause Peyronies Disease now?  I remember when I was about 3 years old, just starting to pee in a real toilet I had my wiener basically resting on the bowl part (again I know, not healthy haha) and both lids came crashing down on it. I got rushed to the hospital but had no lasting effects that I knew of. I almost forgot all about that incident until now. Could that damage way back be causing my issues now?

Sorry if it sounds like i'm all over the place here, I'm quite concerned and just trying to figure things out. For a year and a half now I've been trying to conquer my addictions as well as dealing with depression and now I think I have a whole other problem on my hands. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Regarding to masturbation, if it is not rough, it may not cause Peyronies.
You are lucky that except the lumps you don't have any other Peyronies symptoms.
You should see a Peyronies specialist as soon as you can to understand if it is Peyronies or not and if yes, to begin treatment as soon as possible.
Regarding your second question, I don't think that your injury 30 years ago can cause Peyronies now.
Try to be positive, read as much as you can on the forum to enrich your knowledge.
You don't

Thanks James, I definitely will keep on reading, so much good info on these forums! I just wish this disease was a bit more black and white, seems like a lot of variation with symptoms and treatment.

I think I'll give it a couple weeks and see if anything improves and if not I'll get a referral to a urologist. Thanks again

blackjack,

I agree with James. I don't think frequency of master bation would cause Peyronies. The early small bumps under the skin doesn't sound like any Peyronies Disease symptom. And definitely this IS NOT anything the do with semen not having any place to go. The pain you describe sounds like when you push down on your erection. Well this would cause pain in anyone and still doesn't have anything to do with Peyronies Disease.

For sure you should get examined by a urologist just to get a professional diagnosis on what your symptoms are. Don't assume it is Peyronies, but for sure get it checked out. Could be something completely different.
