I am sure i have the disease, The curving is very dramatic and was at one time painful, however not as much now. I am a type 2 diabetic and in modrate health, I don't know what is worse the embarrassment and feelings of inadequacies or the lack of who to go see and how i will pay for it.
I am currently having a hard time dealing with the condition emotionally, Even though i have a wonderful girl friend that has been nothing but supportive i see myself in a diffrent light that she sees me without a doubt.
I live in Michigan and don't know where to turn for medical advise, I am going to look through the forums and see how others have dealt with these issues.
At 48 maybe its inevitable to just cope and move on.

Just to clarify......   Have you always had a curve, or is this a recent change. I'm only asking in that we get a few guys here who ask about congenital curves instead of curves caused by Peyronies disease. How much would you estimate your curve to be (in degrees).

You don't have to just cope with this. Several on the forum (including myself) have improved and/or correct our curves caused by Peyronies Disease. You will find a lot of information and support here.

It has just appeared about 2 years ago, I would estimate almost 80 degrees depending on the erection. Sometimes it is sever enough to cause small stress tears in the skin but that is more rare now. When it first started i coudl have intercouse carfully if she helped things out so to speak but over the past year i dont think it would be possible, I am generally to shy to discuss it anymore and stay busy working. I hace also noticed a loss in lenght that i could not afford.

You need to see a good doctor as soon as you can because you need to be active in fighting this disease.
Try to find on "Urologists and Other Doctors" board and if you have some question regarding a specific doctor forum members may help.
Try also Oral treatments and Alternative treatments boards.
Your sentence bellow is completely wrong. I am almost 65, other members older than me and we don't give up!!!

Be proactive and fight the disease because have solutions!!!
I lost 6cm to this disease (from 18 down to 12) and now I am 13 because I am treating it. Hope to gain back more.
