Greetings. Last night I had a dream, and in that dream I went online and searched for the cause of a rather disturbing problem. No joke. When I woke up, I acted on that dream, and read all about Peyronie's Disease. Not the most fun way to start the day, let me tell you. I've been reading this board and looking at pictures for hours. I've looked at extreme cases, mild cases, flaccid, hard, you name it. It is through this that makes me wonder whether I even have the disease. After reading that sentence, you may be wondering why I'm even posting here at all.

For. . .six months? A year? I've noticed that my penis is hourglass-shaped around the middle of the shaft, and doesn't seem to be as large as it once was. I figured that perhaps that wasn't a problem. After all, every penis looks different--I know, I've been looking at them all day.  :P

The second issue is more troubling and ponderous. When I have an erection, it's straight. No strange bending of the penis on its own. The scary part is that when I put pressure (not excessive pressure, you understand) on it by pressing my hand against the head, it buckles. I can kind of resist this by "flexing" my penis, or the muscles at the base thereof. This hurts a little bit, but not as much as it should, I think. I'm a little bit confused. The hourglass and the penile buckling seems to fit the general diagnosis of Peyronies Disease, but the erection itself does not seem to. It's straight and hard. . .except when it buckles.

To sum it all up, I know I've got some sort of problem, and maybe it's Peyronies Disease. Regardless, I have some other unfortunate penile ailment. I've come here because the community seems welcoming and caring. I apologize for the length of my post, but it was nice to get my thoughts in writing. I thank all who take the time to reply in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you have such problems in your age.
I suppose the pictures you are talking about you find in other places because on this forum we are not posting pictures.
In any case, my first advice is to see a Peyronies expert as soon as possible and get diagnosed. If it is Peyronies, earlier you will get treatment, better the chance to stop the disease progressing and even revers it.
We are not doctors, so the diagnosis should be done by an urologist. Then we may try to help you with some advice.
In mean time, try to read as much as you can on the forum regarding the oral treatments that forum members are doing.

Best wishes

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, the pictures are from other places. I also read the "Read This First" post, so I know the no pictures rule. That's common sense, really. I do realize that the people on this forum are not doctors, but most seem to be experienced, knowledgeable, and welcoming. That's why I signed on.

I will schedule an appointment with a urologist. I forgot to mention that in my last post. I will also continue to read the forum and other sources of knowledge. Thank you again for the welcome and advice.

East,
On the forum we generally talk about whether one has Peyronies Disease or doesn't have Peyronies Disease. We don't often talk about the "severity" of the case other than discussing the degree of ones curve.

It is very possible you have a "mild" case if there is such a thing. The hourglassing is usually caused by a band or ring around the Tunica that doesn't stretch as much or as well as it used too. I agree it is best to get a diagnosis from a "good" Peyronies doctor. I'm sure others here will offer their opinions but from what you have described I would highly recommend you read the board on VED therapy. This could help in getting your hourglassing stretched back out again. But I'm hesitant to say this as you mention "other issues" and I don't want to suggest something for Peyronies Disease that might not be good for your other complications.
