I was on finasteride for 8.5 years from the age of 18 to 26. But I've been off it now for 14 years.

While on it over time I lost my spontaneous erections and morning wood. When I quit those things came back and my baseline was amazing. It would take minutes for me to lose an erection even after orgasming and had morning wood just about every morning.

My musing is did me taking finasteride maybe make me more prone to getting Peyronie's way down the road? Or is it just coincidental.

I'm thinking it's coincidental in my case. Way too many years have been removed from when I took that drug. The drug worked and wasn't too harmful. But I will 100 percent recommend young men to not take it for hair loss. Just go bald and embrace it.

You will never know for sure if this was the cause or not. I am glad that your hormone function did come back. For some men it does not. Finasteride can be a very dangerous drug for some men.
