I have known about my peyronies for under 1 month, I seen my urologist he wants me to wait for 3 weeks, no sex, see him again, I am on l-argintine, q10, vit e, Ginsing. I am so confused and would listen to any advice anyone could give me. I am 48 years old and married 22 years. Help wanted! Jim PS lots of pain, hourglass and plaque, small curve and it started hurting late November. I found out about peyronies searching my blood pressure meds for side effects.

He is suggesting you wait because he doesn't know what to do yet. Is likely monitoring your symptoms to see if they get better, or worse. For the pain many of the guys on the forum highly recommend pentoxifyline. It is a cheap drug and easy to get if your uro will write you a script for it. This seems to be best for the inflammation.

You should monitor your plaque closely to see if it gets better or worse over time. Peyronies has what is call an active phase which can last 12-18 months before it stabilizes. In the meantime you should check out the threads on traction and/or VED therapy. This can help to keep things from getting worse. And it is good for you mentally to be doing SOMETHING instead of WAITING.

Also, most uro's might be able to diagnose Peyronies but don't know how to treat it. Do you homework here and you will see there are a handful of doctors across the U.S. who actually specialize in this. Depending on where you live we can make some recommendations.

Take the advise of Iwillisjr. Don't wait!!! Have enough information on the forum what to do.
I have waited too long before doing something and it was a BIG mistake!!!

Thanks for the "My history". Very encouraging.
I would like to ask a question: How much is low dose Viagra? I am taking 12.5mg daily Viagra, I cant take Cialis because of acute side effects.

While we're doing some elaborating, can you elaborate more on how you are a "Peyronie's expert"? Do you have it yourself, or are you a medical doctor or health care practitioner of some sort? Your new posts around the forum mostly recite basic material that every single person here already knows, so I was wondering if you are really trying to contribute to the discussion or if you are just promoting the link that's in your signature.

Because I'm bored: that scam web site was registered via a street address in Arizona to a "real estate investor" based in Texas who seems to be trying to reinvent himself as an internet marketer and SEO expert, with that and a bunch of other junk web sites registered within the past two months (though his resume claims one has been around for five years). There's no reason to post his name but he wrote a "book" on Peyronie's available on Amazon, so he isn't trying to hide it. If someone has an Amazon account it may help to post a review saying the book is just regurgitated information (and after using the 'Look Inside' feature I can tell you it most definitely is, and it looks like whoever formatted it was drunk), if that's something that is easily done. Some sample posts of his from around the web: "Well the latest is I had to do paperwork on myself to qualify in order to do the repairs etc. I understand the background check, but was not too glad to hear they will be going mainly off of credit. Which in my case, is not very good." -- "How is the economy holding up there for contractor work? It is DEAD here...called to 'labor ready' yesterday (a major temp labor place) to see how there biz has been...DEAD..." Pathetic.

Regarding Amazon, sometimes amazing how much garbedge they are selling. >:(
Myself bought from them in the past a book that  teaching how to cure enlarged prostate and prostate cancer without surgery or medications.  8)
My enlarged prostate was not cured, but I get into other health troubles while following the book advices. >:( Maybe coincidence. 8)
Guess what? The author passed away from prostate cancer three years later. :(
