I had a plication procedure 5.5 weeks ago.  Recovery has been good with only mild pain during erections.  While some shortening is expected, it is bothering me more than I expected it would.  Has anyone tried traction or other techniques post surgery to recover length?  And when is it safe to do so?

Good question, you might want to check with your surgeon. Mine did suggest traction after 6 weeks post op. But you definitely need to start off with slight traction. Do not get aggressive with it right away.

As LWillisjr said, it's best to ask your Dr. and wait a few months before you can use traction.

I'm in the same boat and trying to recover the length lost, but I do see a slight improvement.

No stretching for me until long after plication (e.g., Incisional corporoplasty)
surgery because there is potential to rip or loosen sutures. Everyone's condition & mindset are different. My reasoning was, "I spent all tat money and went through an ordeal. So, why ruin it. I'll stretch after I know things are well mended."

Tried, I have been short now 5 years, its a total phycological blow. Do not enjoy sex at all anymore. Keep thinking this Dr. mutilated me.
Started 3 yrs ago. Had placation in July 2019. Second in 2022
I did notice shortening
Second one distroyed sex life and left me with a lifetime of 24x7 penile pain.

I am so sorry you had to go through this.
I learned the hard way too. You think you have a good surgeon, they say "I've done this surgery hundreds of times and no one ever had loss of length". My surgeon retired soon after my surgery. He even sent me an email telling me there would be no loss, I should have sued, but I didn't.
So sorry for you.
