Hello,

Well I got the "unofficial" diagnosis Tuesday that I have peyronies. I'm 57 and married, wife has been great about it. My urologist is setting up an appointment to see a specialist about it. In Alabama and specialist is in Birmingham. Don't know his name yet.

So I did some reading on here yesterday so I have a basic concept of what may be in store for me down the road. I hope that they can get this corrected or at least better so that I can a more normal sex life. I can already tell the mental aspect is going to be tough to corral but trying to stay positive.

What other things can I do to help with this new situation? Like exercise, cutting back on smoking...does alcohol affect it in any way? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks

*Also my urologist had already prescribed Cialis back in the fall but I can't say it works that well on me but I didn't know I had this condition at that time. It just seems like it started with the curvature in the last couple of months. And it's not always the same, sometimes worse and sometimes not as bad. Does that mean anything? So it's only been a few months that I have had it I guess?*

Thanks for the help.
