Xiaflex in UK

Hi there, does anyone know if this is available?

I have tried 12 rounds of shockwave which done nothing and I'm now looking at surgery on a 80% upward bend.

As a last ditch attempt to avoid, I would be looking for the injections but I dont think UK does them any more?

I did shockwave therapy and had 6 sessions with no improvement either.

There is Xiaflex still being issued in the UK and Europe under the name Xiapex.

They have listed in as £2,500 per injection on their website.

After speaking to them they said the cost is £1,900 per injection and a course of treatment is usually 3.

They said Dr Amr Raheem carries out the treatment.

Has anyone used this doctor or had any Xiapex injections in the UK?

I would be very interested in hearing your experience.

Before any surgery I would definitely try to get xiaflex injections.
Not sure about UK but I have got confirmation that xiaflex is available in Dubai (and a UK to Dubai flight is no big deal).
I am currently researching about the cost and doctors' experience and will take a decision for my treatment soon.
Clearly it is also possible to fly to the USA.

In the USA one injection is around $7,000. They overcharge as everyone has insurance.

For us Europeans we can't travel to America and get the treatment done at an affordable price.

Look into Xiapex in Europe. It's the same as Xiaflex just a different name.

I spoke to London Andrology and they said they don't offer Xiapex as it's not offered in Europe anymore.

They said they offer collagenase injections which is the same thing.

Has anyone had any experiences with them and Dr Amr Raheem?

I would like to hear experiences before deciding to do any treatment with them.
