Hi, 18 years old from UK

I have two dents on left side of penis almost 3 weeks from injury and certain it is a precursor for peyronies. I have massive anxiety about this and have been reading on here about penile implants and how they prevent further loss of length/girth, i am wondering if i get diagnosed with acute peyronies would getting an implant during that early stage stop any loss?

Edit: I know it is seen as a last resort but the last thing i want to do is think getting treatment is the best option, losing length and then regretting not doing this.

Thankyou :)

You need to see an Urologist and get a professional diagnosis before you start thinking about implants, sure you can ask the specialist if you are suitable for an implant IMO

Before you see the Urologist it is a good idea to write down some of the questions you want answers to, on the day of the appointment it is so easy to forget questions you have.

I am the founder of this site.  I have been here for over two decades.  I have researched many medical conditions (from cancer to Peyronies Disease) adnauseam.  Do NOT stress yourself out by reading worse-case scenarios on this site and planning for the most dramatic thing that could possibly happen to you.  The chances that you would want or that any doctor would recommend or even consent to perform an implant on you is EXTREMELY unlikely.

Stress triggers inflammatory responses.  You would honestly be better off spending your time on a meditation site than you would using this forum as intensely as you have been.

Go see a well-known expert.  In the meantime:
1. Get rest
2. Unstress through meditation, exercise, etc
3. Be very kind to your body so it heals properly (sleep, nutrition, avoid smoking, alcohol)
4. Treat your penis gently

Hi Hawk thanks for the response,

i understand how a doctor would not see it as an emergency, my main concern is i feel like i am under a time slot, my length and girth means alot to me especially at this age and would rather get this surgery to prevent any further deformity if it is acute peyronies. Another main reason is with drugs like Cialis which i am currently taking the side effects are very extreme for me, from what ive read it seems people take these medications for the rest of their lives and fixate on their penis whereas i would rather have an implant knowing i wont have to constantly worry or work on my dick constantly.

Please let me know your thoughts thankyou :)

EDIT: Currently taking 5mg Cialis daily, daily ice packs and hot baths. Eating fruits.

Peyronies Disease varies a lot from one man to another and one situation to another.  MANY men with Peyronies Disease never recall an injury.  Other men who have had significant injuries never get Peyronies Disease.

The only injury that is an emergency is a penile fracture or priapism. You have said nothing to suggest you had a fracture, which is an unmistakable significant injury with immediate pain and bruising, sometimes worse.

Keep in mind that unless you are seeing a Peyronies Disease specialist who bases most of their practice around Peyronies Disease, there is little they can do for you in the weeks immediately after a minor injury that you can't do for yourself.
Rest, Ice, anti-inflammatories, no sex.  Even a specialist could not diagnose Peyronies Disease because you would have no plaque developing that soon.

You need to be VERY specific.
A. How did you "injure your penis"
B. List ALL of your symptoms:

1. When do you have pain
2. on a scale of 1-10, how bad is it?
3. What causes or triggers the pain
4. Do you or did you have bruising?  (what are the details)
5. Do you have any deformity that others would notice?

I want you to listen to someone who has been around a long time.  You are presenting as someone who has OCD, hypochondria, or body dysmorphia.  We get a lot of that because All men focus a lot on their penis. Men with psychological issues tend to focus those disorders on their penises.  If you have a real issue, then you must CALM DOWN and present yourself as a rational, level-headed individual, or no one will take your penis issues seriously, including doctors.

1. Had pain day after injury
2. Id say around 7 can fluctuate
3. When blood goes there usually the pain starts, can start randomly.
4. Didnt have any bruising, injury was caused due to me stretching the penis to max length for around 2 mins.
5. Yes, 2 bumps on the left side, when i get an erection i can see it already slightly bending.

You are right about that Hawk and honestly this has took a huge toll, i already fought of things such as depersonalization, self confidence issues and alot i understand most of this is mental but honestly if an implant saves me length and girth than that pro for myself outweighs the cons. Alot of my confidence stems from my experience with women.

I also ask if i have the money to pay upfront would they still not operate? Confused on availability.

Thankyou for your response 😁

Forget an implant.  I am certain that any medical doctor will refuse.  You cannot get an implant as a preventative measure just to stop a possible case of scarring.

Were you using weights, or a traction device, or manual traction to stretch your penis?

Keep in mind that scaring on the penis is usually NOT Peyronies Disease.  Scaring is supposed to develop at an injury site, whether a cut on your arm or an injury to your penis.  Peyronies Disease is when scaring overruns the healthy, uninjured tissue.

My guess is that you were using traction because you wanted a bigger, better penis even though you had, and largely still do have, a perfect penis.

It is ESSENTIAL that you seek mental/emotional help.  Please realize that your penis issues are ENTIRELY a result of your underlying mental issues.  You are putting your focus on the wrong area.  Your mental issues are not only your primary issues, but they are issues that YOU are directly responsible for improving.  That is unlike a medical issue that is largely out of your control.

Was using my hands to stretch, currently going cbt therapy for my mental issues.

Almost 4 weeks now same bump today had an erection but felt extremely tight.

What would you do in this case to prevent further damage?

Thankyou i appreciate your advice :)

The bumps could be temporary swelling for an injury that is still not fully healed.  They could be scar tissue from a healed injury.  There is a lesser chance it could be Peyronies Disease.  Even if it is, it is likely to go into remission at your age.

What would I do to prevent further injury?
I would not abuse my penis.  It really is that simple.  Be gentle with your penis.

Is CBT helping?  Are you able to better direct your thought patterns?

Hoping that it will go over time just not hopeful at almost 4 weeks now erection was alot less painful today.

Only had a consultation not sure how it is yet, had family members who recommend it good for negative thoughts.

Also Hawk do you think its a good idea to start VED and traction this early? Dont want to cause further injury.

Thankyou.

IF you are getting nighttime erections and occasional daytime erections, I see no point or advantage in using a VED.
You would use a VED basically for blood flow (oxygenation), which is all already happening.  Any use of the VED for stretching, I think, is risky.

If you have a traction device and want to use some gentle to moderate traction, I think it will not hurt, but since you have no curve or dent, what would the point be?  What would be your goal?  I certainly would not go shopping for a traction device.

I am completely serious when I say that I think your physical penis health would likely benefit more at this point from a daily hour of guided relaxation mindful meditation than it would from an hour of daily traction.

If you post a photo that shows real deformity, then you might change my mind.

Your penis is in the condition you are currently experiencing BECAUSE you UNNECESSARILY stretched it with manual traction.  You have to somehow finally get the message to stop obsessing over your penis.  Take your mind to a different place and allow your body's natural healing processes to fix the injury you inflicted.

Your body will heal your penis far more efficiently if you stop stressing and obsessing. Your inflammatory responses will improve, your natural blood flow will improve, and your penis will improve.  That is the treatment, and the earlier you start it, the better off you will be.
