I keep reading about it, yet I can't find a clear explanation of what the hinge effect is. I also can't find any pictures. Would love some help! Thanks guys.

I discovered a left curve several months ago.
GP inspected my penis and diagnosed Peyronie's.
My urologist wants me to give treatment another three months.
Treatment: Keto + heat + RestoreX + Cialis + supplements.

The hinge effect is where the plaque buildup is circumferentially around the penis. This then weakens that area and does not support the entire strength of the erection. It kind of gives a hinge effect or floppiness in that area. There can be different degrees of this also. It doesn't necessarily have to encompass the entire penis but rather have a slight indentation to weaken the area. If you google it you can see some photos. The photos are copyrighted that is why I could not post any. I'm sure if you search the forum you will find some members pics of a hinge effect.

What is the difference between a hinge and an indentation?

Curve to the right that fluctuates between 20-30 degrees and indentation. Indent is exactly where the curve is.
No palpable plaque. When fully erect, the curve sight/indentation is softer than the rest of the erection.

Thank you for your great reply. So, the hinge effect is noticeable during an erection? I'm guessing if I had this then it would be super obvious? Or can it also happen when flaccid? As my penis does seem to flop or bend a bit when I'm not hard and trying to position my penis into the RestoreX.

And unfortunately when I Google hinge effect I just get pictures of surgeries.
