Have any of you experienced something like this, when getting fully erect very quickly the curve is much worse, but when slowly building up to a full erection the curve is much less apparent?

If I have a slow build up to erection, my curve is maybe 10-15 degrees and the indent looks more "filled" (but the indent is still there), whereas if I quickly get to full erect then the curve is about double that, and the indentation looks & feels much deeper

My curve is to the right, not sure if it makes a difference. I also feel veins at the curve/indent spot that I don't remember noticing before any of this started.

Curve to the right that fluctuates between 20-30 degrees and indentation. Indent is exactly where the curve is.
No palpable plaque. When fully erect, the curve sight/indentation is softer than the rest of the erection.

I have not heard of this. Have you actually taken a correct measurement of this with a tape measure to be absolutely sure? Others should chime in.

The speed of the erection didn't matter for me but the hardness did. The harder the erection the more the deformity. Could be since my urologist said the blood flow was excellent, and the unaffected area was very full making the plaque areas look narrower.

I have not used a tape measure but since this all started I take videos on my phone when I'm masturbating (this felt really, really awkward to type lol) to track, and I have videos that are days apart that look like two completely different erect penises. If I was 'in the mood' all day and finally had some alone time, my erect penis would look 97% like it did pre-peyronies. I say 97% because the indent is still visible but much, much less visible (as in, less deep) - with little to extremely little curvature. If you didn't know what my penis looked like pre-peyronies, you wouldn't think I had peyronies at all.

Whereas if on another day I masturbate just to check my erection, without being 'in the mood' prior, the curve is much worse, and the indentation is deeper. Those are the times I really realise the extent of peyronies. Keep in mind for both of these scenarios, I'm referring to fully erect.

I'm new to this forum so I dont fully know yet the extent of what's considered 'adult' and whats considered informational, so im limiting myself here in what I type. But - the same applies if im with my gf. If there is a build up with kissing etc while clothed, then I get the straight version of my penis. If there is no foreplay and it's straight to oral, then I get my peyronies penis. As silly as that may sound, that is honestly how it is.

I'm new here so I'm a bit hesitant to post pics at this point, but I have screenshots from the videos I take while masturbating that really show the difference. I just looked at some of them again now while typing this post and yeah, it is really weird.

Also, for extra information, I first showed symptoms in August 2022, but my full erection would fill out with no indentation or curvature. My fully erect penis only began to visibly be effected by this in late November/early December 2022. So maybe I am in some weird stage of the acute phase, I really don't know what is going on.

The harder the erection the more the deformity? Can you please elaborate. I'm new to all of this so I'm still learning. For me, the semi-erect state is the worst, and the harder I get, the straighter I get, but like I said in my other comment, there are times where when fully hard I am almost perfectly straight, and there are times when I'm fully erect with a 20-30 degree curve and very apparent indentation.

My Peyronie's progressed and changed a lot. And somewhere in the middle of it, at the peak of the plaque build up, I took some photos at semi, hard, and hardest. It was straight then curving up then curving much more and twisting, each time the narrowing seemed more but it was really the fuller, unaffected area getting bigger. The plaque stopped the engorgement in that area, like having duct tape around my penis.

That is extremely interesting. Thank you. For myself, the fuller it gets, the more I feel it push out the indented area and straighten. The degree to which it actually pushes out the affected area varies each time.

This disease, condition, whatever you want to call it, really affects everyone who has it differently from what I've seen. The same goes for the result of treatment.

One hallmark of peyronies is it is very mysterious on how it affects each man differently. Even with curvatures - they can somehow appear overnight.

Sure does! About a month after diagnosis, I walked in front of a mirror and it was angled to the left about 30 degrees. Had just seen it the day before and it was straight!
