Never_Enough

I hope I am still welcome here,  despite not yet having peyronies, as I am  looking for advice regarding implants

I am a 38 m who suffers from extreme psychogenic and stress related ED.

My father has peyeronies  and I am told it can be hereditary.

Under comfortable circumstances and zero stress I can achieve a good full erection with Cialis.... the only problem is due to the way my life is  that circumstance never arises and  near without fail all my sexual encounters at some point  are bogged down with ED.

What made this worse is that last year I developed pelvic floor dysfunction which makes my penis  painful and tight at times with hard flaccid symptoms.

This  is a loop with the  stress and anxiety.

I have tried injections at a low dose which  did not work well and VED which also didnt produce good results and are far too invasive.

I guess my post would be better suited to the implant forum and not the introduction so I wont go any further into that here.

Dear Never_Enough,
You are correct that this is not a forum specifically for ED, although we do have a section for discussion on implants.  However, from what you say and your own description of your condition, it seems clear that what you need is counseling from a professional therapist. I urge you to stop self-medicating and to seek professional help with your anxiety, stress and fears.
Also, I would submit to you that while you say you were told Peyronie's Disease "can be hereditary", there is no firm evidence that genetics is the sole cause.  A man could have a genetic predisposition and never contract the disease.  Also, it seems that some contract the disease without any genetic predisposition at all.  In the end we know very little about the etiology of the disease, so I would suggest that if you are prone to anxiety and worry, you should stop yourself from thinking about Peyronie's.  You do not have it now and you have no reason to imagine that you will get it.
Stop thinking of yourself as "not yet having" the disease.  There is no upside in thinking of a disease -- heart disease, cancer, emphysema, psoriasis, whatever - and then saying "I don't have that disease YET".  I mean seriously, we all die sometime, but what's the point of going through your life thinking of yourself as "not dead yet"??  You're doing the same thing by describing yourself as "not yet having" Peyronie's.  You might NEVER have it!  So stop setting psychological traps for yourself and then walking into them on purpose.
Please look seriously into counseling.  You might find that your problems are all in your head and you can beat them with some hard work on getting to know yourself and changing your attitudes.  It IS possible to do.
