Just got a VED for ED , but my tip (glans ) doesn't get hard enough to fit in the vaccum erection hole.

Probably just gonna send it back.

I have no idea what you bought but a VED is designed to work with a penis that is TOTALLY flaccid.  There is no requirement for your glans to become partially erect to use it.  Also, there should be no small hole to stick your penis through.  The cylinder should be a larger diameter than your penis base for the entire length of the cylinder.

Do you intend to use this for intercourse?  If not, then it is NOT for ED

Anyone have a recommendation on a VED with an accurate gauge, manual pump? I am using the soma but there is no gauge and it never fully erects my penis. I have to stop because there is too much suction at the base which creates pain. There is also no pressure gauge which is really concerning.

LA Pump. Very good quality pump with very good accurate gauge. Just remember to buy the cylinder that fits you best.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

It sounds like you're experiencing difficulty with your VED (Vacuum Erectile Device). While it's disappointing that it's not working out as expected, there may be a few things you could try before deciding to send it back. Have you adjusted the pressure settings or tried using a different size of the vacuum erection hole? Sometimes, small adjustments can make a big difference. If you're still having trouble, it might be worth reaching out to the manufacturer or your healthcare provider for further guidance. They may have some additional suggestions or alternatives to consider.
