Orgasm during Xiaflex treatment

I'm going to start Xiaflex injections to correct a dorsal 45 degree curve next month. I'm 48 years old. My wife and I enjoy a healthy sex life with some form of sexual activity 2-3 times a week. We've played with toys and she's made me orgasm by holding a vibrator on my penis before.

My urologist has told me that there is the potential that I won't be able to have sex or masturbate for the duration of the treatment which is 6 weeks per series of shots so potentially 24 weeks when you consider 4 series.

The thought of going 24 weeks without sex or masturbation isn't ideal but it is something I know I can manage but I do wonder if this means no orgasms either. I understand that spontaneous erections will continue to occur during this time but what about orgasms?

I understand the mechanics and reasons for why sex and masturbation is dangerous while allowing Xiaflex to work but I wonder about stimulation that does not involve significant contact with the penis suck has holding a vibrator to the frenulum. Would this cause trauma?

I'm not proposing doing this in the first 2-3 weeks after an injection but 4-5 weeks after an injection and before the next series, would this be harmful?

I have gone through Xiaflex injections ... and the reason you won't be able to or should not attempt to masturbate or have sex is that
1) your penis will already be swollen like a grapefruit after the inject for 1-2 weeks atleast.
2) The injection breaks down collagen and remodels tissue in your penis... you want to avoid that at all cost because your tunica is remodeling and is a higher lieklohood of experiencing a penile fracture which you do not want.

Honestly, the scary bit is during organs , when your pelvic muscles are contracting , it puts a lot of pressure on the tunica with all the blood flow ... and it would be scary . Honestly , I did masturbate 1 during the 4 week period but would not take that risk if I were you .

With regard to swelling, did you keep your penis wrapped afterwards?

Yes, the doctor made sure the penis was wrapped after injections to reduce henotoma , swelling etc ... which would hinder the injections cycles  . I was advised to keep the wrap atleast till 24 hours after.

I was thinking kinda like you. "4 cycles and no sex for 4 weeks during each cycle"? That wasn't going to work for us. We're 2-3 times a week people too.

If you can make it out to Utah and see Dr. Trost, It might only be a one time (4 week) hiatus from sex. We followed his advice and waited 4 weeks. But, didn't give it one more day. We were super ready. And with a much, much straighter penis. From 50 degrees to almost zero. And still straight after almost a year.
I believe if more doctors would adapt Dr. Trost procedures, there would be less cycles in the Xiaflex program.

The number of cycles/injections depends on the extent of the underlying condition. Dr. Trost got me from 70 degrees to 20 degrees with one set of injections. However, that was because the ultrasound showed only plaque with no calcifications and I did a ruthless post-injection RestoreX and pulling regimen. Some guys have much more extensive plaque and calcifications which require additional injections. Dr. Trost told me that only something like 25% of his patients are "one and done" but that he can get just about every patient to an acceptable curvature with a full series of injections.
