Well, let's start from the beginning. In 2019, I underwent surgery for congenital curvature using the Nesbit technique. I went through with it despite having few sexual relations, and honestly, I think I shouldn't have done it without having more experiences. It was an impulsive decision (I was very foolish). My penis was curved downwards and to the left. I thought the surgery was a success, especially regarding the curvature. However, the doctor made incisions in my penis but did not perform circumcision, which left me mentally distressed due to the scarring on my penis. Another issue is the internal stitches that I feel when touched. I am going to see a doctor on Monday to determine if it's possible to undo the surgery by removing the sutures without causing further harm. Has anyone reversed this surgery? Can you tell me if the curvature returns, even if it has been done a long time ago? I need opinions, thank you!

Just a thought, but couldn't you just get some filler injected so you can't feel the sutures? Is the sutures the only thing you're unhappy with? If so, at least the rest went well! Those procedures can be risky.

The main issue is really the internal points that bother me; I hate feeling them. Despite the scar being normotrophic, it still brings me down because I feel like I have to explain to someone I'm going to be intimate with why I have them. But about this injection you mentioned, I've never heard of it. Is that something applied again in surgery, or is there another treatment for it?

Id definitely look into injections to see what you find. I would imagine there being significantly less risk than degloving the penis and removing sutures (if that's even possible). I haven't read up much on injections but I do know my surgeon said he gives those for people who experience dog ears from implants. People also use them to fill in dents on their penis from Peyronies. I'd at least explore that option to see what they say. I can only imagine it would help by putting a layer of filler between the sutures and skin. As an added benefit, you'd get more girth that comes along with filer. It's not cheap though, one person I know paid around $6500 I believe to have his whole penis injected with filler. And he gained a significant amount of girth from it.

I understand your frustration with the sutures and the final result of the surgery. But you have to keep in mind that every surgery carries it's own risk and the more surgeries you have the greater that possibility is. Whether that is an infection, increased erectile dysfunction, loss of sensitivity, size, more curvature... In reality, the knots may not even be perceived by your future partner. And if a girl does notice, if your erections are hard to intercourse and you care about giving her pleasure it's not a big deal.

Also, a curvature correction surgery just can't be undone. It can be done again to correct a new curvature that may come along, but again, with more of the aforementioned risks.

If you can, try to talk to a therapist. He or she may be able to help you seeing things in a different perspective!

Johnpaulx1, can you see the stitches? Do they hurt when you get an erection or have sex, or do you just not like the fact that they are there? I am considering undergoing surgery for my 45-degree left congenital curvature. I am confused as some doctors say it's better to have non-absorbable sutures while others suggest using absorbable ones."

Hello, friend. Have you ever had a relationship before? If you have and managed to engage in a sex life, I do not recommend undergoing surgery (in my opinion). Regarding the surgical threads, yes, they can be bothersome, and it's possible to feel them. In my case, they really interfere with erections when I touch them. A few days ago, I consulted with a urologist who told me that it's possible to remove them without the curvature returning to what it was before the surgery. However, I'm not entirely sure about this and plan to consult another specialist for a second opinion. I do intend to have them removed, and I pray to God that everything goes well.

Another thing about the scar, talk thoroughly with your doctor to understand what type of scar will be left. I regret impulsively making decisions, and as a result, I ended up with three scars in the middle of my penis, which affected me psychologically. It's challenging to explain something like this to someone. If anyone already has these scars, please let me know how you explain it to others. If you opt for the circumcision scar, it's okay because people are already familiar with that type of mark, so it doesn't affect you psychologically.
