After seeing a urologist for the first time, after waiting a month to see him.

He quickly gaslighted me on the severity of my symptoms and told me to give it time and and take Pentox but that's not helping .

Told him I've been in pain for 4 years constant pain .

He didn't care .

In my head logically an ultrasound of some type needs to be done to rule out physical causes but he never could even do that .

So I'm just supposed to sit here stare at the wall and smile while my dick gets worse ?

My doctor refuses to refer me to a different Urologist . I don't want to go back and see him he's rude , impatient , and condescending .

Any advice ?

My advice: Go see the right urologist, probably one recommended by many on this forum. It's worth traveling and the extra money.

What you are feeling is 100% justified feelings sadly you are not alone, this happens very often and to very many. Pretty much only thing you can do is seek another urologist privately if you have the option? I also had one who was absolutely horrible, he was irritated condescending and said a bunch of BS so I never ever visited him again.

I would honestly say that this is the worst part about this condition. The fact that so many of these urologists treat us this way is in my opinion 95% of the cause why we end up feeling so hopeless and full of anxiety. Let's just for an example say you had a benign tumor in your testicle which causes severe pain. You go to a uroloigst and he makes it very clear, yeah you have a benign tumor, we will make a relatively simple procedure, remove it and all will be fine. It will then be easy to move on because you know what has to be done and you have clarity.

However if the told you, well, theres not much we can do about it, you just have to walk around with the pain every day and deal with it, then you would not feel as good about it right? This is basically how most urologist treat us in regards to peyronies. No clarity, No help, no improvements 3 years later.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

I went through similar. My first urologist said, after 4 months, that he didn't treat Peyronies Disease. Said he'd give me a referral to a specialist. Never did, no matter how many times I called. SO, my advice is to go to your GP and tell them the story and ask for a referral from HIM. In my case, I'd researched and found a good one (I hope) and asked that the GP refer me to that doctor. Kept the ball rolling and I'm finally in the urologist's hands who I'd selected.

what everyone is saying - you need to see a different DR.  It is frustrating to spend the time and money and then find out that this person doesn't have a clue how to treat you or diagnose you. We have all been there. It is a hit or miss.  I do suggest that you could ask the receptionist beforehand if the Dr is knowledgeable in treating peyronies or not. You should also have your list of questions written down for your new Dr so everything is answered. Are you close to Utah or Chicago? Dr Trost or Dr Levine.
