Is a dull ache always a sign of Peyronies?

Hi,

I got an injury during a hand job last week and the left shaft of my penis has been aching. The area sometimes aches when flaccid and occasionally when erect, it's been 5 days. Is the only possible cause of this pain Peyronies? That seems to be the case based on research.

I had an injury last year that may or may not have been Peyronies, the situation healed and there was no significant pain. Uro didn't feel any plaques on two visits. The pain I am experiencing now is where I was previously injured, the left side of my penis. Feeling distressed and unsure how to proceed.

Is there any chance this isn't Peyronies? I'm back on Cialis and taking Advil daily just in case, scheduled another appointment for mid-December. Thanks!

You need to be evaluated. Are you getting an ultrasound? I would write down your questions for your Dr ahead of time. Leave things alone and see if you are healing. Remember that peyronies is a healing disease where our bodies kind of over respond
and the healing process goes haywire. There is a lot of inflammation and pain can be a part of it. Time will tell. You are young though and healing is faster for you compared to someone like me.

I feel like Tadalafil (generic Cialis) helped big time with that aching feeling but then my Peyronies is mild.

Good luck to you!

Thank you for your thoughts. I'm already feeling less pain which has me in better spirits. Sometimes my penis hourglasses when getting erect from the first injury but fills when erect, and this has scared me and makes me feel ugly or unlovable, but I'm grateful that  I'm likely to heal it seems and will still be able to have sex. It's been a tough week psychologically.
