Hey guys, I was just wondering if ordering a RestoreX now is the next step in my treatment consisting of DIET and RESTING MY PENIS. (Along with Cialis.)

Or should I hold out on ordering until I see my urologist on December 20?

I'm just concerned that perhaps I may miss out on some recovery by waiting that long, but on the other hand, I'm also worried about rushing into traction and damaging my penis further.

Thanks again.

I would suggest starting treatment with Restorex thus preventing any further damage and slowing things down. It will also help contribute to improving your erection quality. It really is an ingenious device. I would recommend the makeup pads for helping with the gripping action though. There is a posting in the traction forum about it.

Thanks so much, Mike, I'll order the thing now then have a small cry as $1500 leaves my bank account!

I've been looking at the makeup pad mod, and I will see if there's something like it in Australia.

Guessing any make up pad with an elastic handle on the back will do?

I looked up the make up pads for you that I think will work -->https://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/buy/124336/my-beauty-cosmetic-sponge-5-piece-set . The flat ones are very similar to what we use in the USA. :)

You're a legend mate, I will get those ASAP.

Also, is the RestoreX device easy enough to figure out how to use for yourself with the included instructions? Or do you need a urologist to help you?

The device is pretty easy to use. You will have to try both sizes of the rods to see where you get the best stretch. If you have a curvature that you will be working on you need to place the rods in the base so that you are bending in the opposite direction of your curve. Also do not over tighten the screws that hold the rods, the base is plastic and not metal.

You need to bury the white lines for the best tension. When you begin to use it though you might try it for only 10 minutes to get use to it. The gripping of your glans with the make up pads makes things much easier, just try to get it to the point where you are not over compressing things into pain. It is a small learning curve. Also remember that you need to pull your excess outer shaft skin through the base so you are feeling an internal stretch and not just pulling your shaft skin. You can also use it up to 3 times a day in 30 minute sessions.  :)

Quote from: curvedcarnivore on November 09, 2023, 09:47:17 PMThank you, I'm hoping my action plan of DIET, TRACTION, and RESTING MY PENIS will be the silver bullet to treat this disease. Would love some advice on what questions I should be asking. Thank you.

Questions will be based on your condition.  When I finally decided to write questions down, it was after my dopplar and blood test.

They were...

How long do I expect to be on Tadalafil?
Will the vein ever work again?  He said a vein wasn't working which why way I had some mild ED.
Was about to go on vacation so how will alcohol mix with the tadalafil?
Of course I asked about what phase I was in.  Now I'm considered stable.

If you're married or have a girlfriend will probably help to bring them with you so if you miss anything.

Age 48, No injury

Discomfort/aching sometimes

Thanks so much for your reply mate. Unfortunately, the device got lost in transit, which was rather scary for a $1500 device – yet they are sending another out today, so hoping I can get started on Monday.

I'm not sure what you mean by white lines?

Ah, this was something I was wondering. I'm not circumcised. So do I pull the shaft/hood skin down before clamping in?

I'm guessing this is all in the included instructions as well?

I have a bend to the left, which is something I very much want to start treating. So I guess I'm going to have to remove the clamp and reattach it to the side mount position? Do I need any tools of my own to do this? Also, when you bend you penis with the device, is it a full 90 degree bend to the other side?

Here is the link to some instructions for the Restorex if you don't have them -->Restorex Manual.

So looking down on your penis it bends to the left. Then you will be unscrewing the two base rods and moving them to the opposite side of your bend, your right side. Remember to not over tighten these screws too much as the base is plastic.

When starting to use the bend function you will have to work with a starting point. Just do the first degree of bending to get used to the pulling force. It took me a while before I was bending the unit way past 90 degrees. It just takes practice. Also remember to use the makeup pads for the clamping.

Thanks so much, mate. As I await for the thing to arrive I'd love if you could help me with the below.

1) Do I pull my foreskin down (I'm uncircumcised) before putting my penis head in the clamp?

2) The instructions say to measure the distance where your curve starts. Is this with a flaccid penis or with an erection?

3) And finally, do I need any tools to remove the base rods?

Watch the videos at RestoreX.com. And read the manual Mikel linked to. The one mistake I made was throwing away the box with the extended rods, thinking I didn't need them. I did. Paid extra for another pair.

Thanks, mate! Unless I've been following along poorly, the video/instructions don't seem to mention if I need to pull my foreskin down or not. Or if I measure the distance to the bend on my penis flaccid or with an erection.

I'll have another watch and read though. Thanks!

Okay, I discovered that I need to pull my foreskin fully back and measure the length to my curve with an erection.

I'm having trouble finding a screwdriver small enough to make all the required adjustments though. So if anybody has a recommendation that would be amazing.

Anyway, I'm getting rather nervous about it all now. Seems there are a lot of things that can go wrong. So I'll read the instructions again a few more times...

Just a quick update that I've tried out the RestoreX.

And wow, it's a very uneasy and unnatural experience.

I hope I'm doing it correctly, and the device just takes some getting used to and is a shock for everybody when they first start?

As I really didn't think the head of my penis could squash down like that, and it was also extremely odd seeing my penis stretched that far.

I also had some pain using the device, and my penis kept slipping out. So I may have to order the pads recommended here – as I feel the ones I bought locally aren't doing the best job.

Anyway, I'm not sure how I'm going to make it to wearing the device for 30 minutes, but hopefully things get easier and I stress less about it over time.
