Hello Forum Members,

I don't know where to turn or what to do.

Right now I am experiencing persistent and constant aching and pain from my glans down the left side of the shaft of my penis.  I don't have indents/curvature or plaques at this time.  My issues are pain, aching, and a pins and needles feeling. At times my glans can is very sensitive when it rubs against my underwear.

Two and a half weeks ago my partner used her hand to bring me to climax, I remember it hurting and being rough and the left side of my penis was inflamed after.  There was not pain initially, however the last 5 days the pain has gotten progressively worse.

What should I do?  Do you know what I could do now, this early, to prevent this from developing into Peyronies?  Are there any early therapies or supplements I should be using?  I definitely want to avoid plaques from forming and the pain to subside. I did reduce my sugar intake and, I do have any appointment with my primary care physician in 5 days.  Not sure what he will say or his expertise in this area.

I truly appreciate your insight and help so much.  The anxiety I have been experiencing has been completely crippling.  -GR

👋Hey Green Rock welcome, definitely read the "Survival Guide" on the main forum. It has a lot of good advice and wisdom from our other members on here to help you out.

🚩 From my personal experience absolutely no more sexual activity don't even try to touch it. I really can't emphasize that enough.

🚩Don't  even try to touch your dick, leave it be for two weeks to 2 1/2 weeks.

🥼From that point on if the pain doesn't go away. Definitely try to get an appointment with a urologist. And have an appointment lined up with your Primary physician.

🔦[]Things you can do now []🔦

1. Cialis daily 5mg💊

Some things that you can do now as a first line of defense is start taking Cialis daily for blood flow but no sexual activity while you use it .

2. Anti-inflammatory Diet 🥒

And you also made a good point try to eat an anti-inflammatory diet, and stay away from processed sugars and just sugar in general. Drink water.

3. Heat therapy 🧦

Make a rice sock if you can.

And heat it up in the microwave until its at a suitable temperature, not too hot, hold it on the area where you feel pain for as long as you need. You can do multiple sessions a day like this scheduling them throughout your day.

🕯The fact that your already on this forum and this happened to you so recently, means you have a way higher chance of having an easier time dealing with whatevers going on with you, im definitely jealous. I suffered with symptoms 3 years before reaching out.

Thank you for all this great info.

Any thoughts on COQ10 or L-Arginine?

I know about COQ-10 but not to much about L-Arg to be honest. If you take them just make sure they're compatible with other meds you're taking .

It's all about trying to bring down any underlying inflammatory process in your body as much as you can , b/c sometimes that becomes difficult .

For me I know before my symptoms I masturbated too much and too aggressively.

And don't be too anxious , Peyronies happens when trauma to the penile tissue heals incorrectly with standard collagen rather than penile tissue. I'm only happens to a percentage of people .

Hello Greenrock,
I wish this paper had been available
and I could have read this, when I got similar symptoms at about the same age, but that was in 2010.  But it probably only helps in the initial inflammatory phase which you are fortunate to be in . Normally, inflammation is part of healing, but with Peyronies Disease, it may be that runaway fibrosis can be suppressed by limiting inflammation and the anti inflammatory interventions help in this case.

It's cheap, safe, and easy, right?

I only found some relief from Serropeptase but diclofenac is more obvious to try in hindsight..  i would question the logic of both abstaining from sex or masturbation, yet also taking cialis, if the rationale is that erections could be damaging, as cialis would only cause longer and harder erections .if you stop sex, for as long as you have pain, it could be for a long time  e.g. easily 6 months, which could harm or destroy your relationship.
Age 57, Onset 2010, 2" shortening, shrinking and angulation of glans, weaker erections, 30 degree bend. Mild pain few months, but far from worst symptom. Tried many ideas, not just from here, but not consistently. Moderate improvement, maybe 40%

Welcome Greenrock to the forum. Thank you for filling out your signature line and please study our survival guide as it will give you and understanding of peyronies and it's treatments.

Definitely you need an appointment with a urologist and one that is educated in peyronies. You should take some preliminary measurements of your penis for future reference.  If you can, get into a urologist that specializes in peyronies. Read the survival guide and make up your list of questions for your DR.

The responses you have already been given are good to follow. Leave things rest and try some of the heat therapy. Cialis brings healing and reducing bodily inflammation is also beneficial. Peyronies is a healing disorder that kind of malfunctions in our penises. Reducing pain and inflammation does help to slow things down and sometimes stop it from producing further damage. Many of us have use traction to prevent shortening and reducing curvatures and indentations. I do not know if that is what you need to do at this time if you are in a lot of pain. Study up on the subject. VED is also something to look into as it also helps with erections and blood flow.

If you must have sex use a LOT of lube and try to be gentle. Also keep things in perspective and stop worrying about this. Anxiety does damage also and needs to be addressed. Our motto here is that this is a marathon and not a sprint. You will also find here the best group of men and a few women who really care and offer a lot of support.  :)
