Greetings! I have an appointment with my urologist in two weeks, I am suffering from peyronnies for sure, my erections point straight down towards the left. It was due to physical trauma (as you know the fibrous plaques occured after the penile fracture healed). Now, what should I do? What should I say?... This is my first post about well essentially peyronnies disease, what can I expect?

Penile fracture at 22, left untreated, did not heal properly, dealing with complications of the injury. Diagnosed with lacerations to the tunica albuginea, as well as Ed.

Welcome Mikerey to the forum and thank you for filling our your signature line! Also please download and read our survival guide -->Survival Guide . This will educate you on peyronies and it's different treatments.

By all means you are not in the wrong forum. Hopefully your urologist is educated in peyronies or is willing to work with you. I would sit down and write out your questions for the Dr's appointment so everything is answered for you. Also you should take some preliminary measurements of your penis for future reference.

So how long ago was your fracture? Are you in pain? Are your erections full or painful?
You say you have a downward curvature to the left, how much of a degree to the left is it? Is sex painful?

Peyronies left untreated can heal on it's own or get worse. It is very unpredictable to say exactly what will happen. Usually most men will get a plan of action and then implement it. You have one thing in your advantage that you are young and will heal faster than us older guys. VED and traction therapy is the usual first starting point in treatment. Educate yourself on these before you go into your appointment so you can discuss them with your Dr.

You must adopt the mindset that this is a marathon and not a sprint. You will not get any fast results with this disease and it's treatments. It is a constant commitment to follow through until you are satisfied with your results. Also get a mindset to not worry and build up internal anxiety over this. This will also do you harm. Keep sex to a minimum if at all possible and use a lot of lube. Pain is an indicator that you should take it easy. Study up on the forum and educate yourself. There are a few ,"youngins" here on the forum that are experiencing what you are going through. Age has no difference with peyronies. Welcome again :)

I mean, wow... Great response mikel7. You are a stand up guy while others sit down! Lists, lists, lists, I think doctors like those. I have been reading the forums about other treatments for peyronnies, I remain hopeful. Once again; thank you!

Hey bro, when you had those penile fractures in your sig, was it like a creeper while it healed? Meaning did it take forever and was prolonged?? Was your mind scarred after? How did you pick up the pieces I must ask!? I feel like mine is healing in dividends (segments) and sometimes after the pain there is a warm emanating feeling...of flesh down there.
