Where to buy Restorex screws

Hello,

I'm in Europe and it's still impossible to order spare parts from the Restorex website.

But I'm only looking for screws
I've tried 3 mm and 4 mm screws but it doesn't work. It seems that Restorex has a special thread, do you know which screw I can buy?

Are the diameters and threads of American screws different from those of European screws?

Imperial screw sizes are popular in the US, you could use a chart such as this to find something close. You might also be able to find a seller of imperial parts in Europe.

Hey Alex! I second tsp's comment. Either try something from the local hardware store or get it contact with Restorex customer support. Maybe they will be able to help you. Regardless, try them out by hand first and don't use a screw driver unless you are really sure they are the correct size so you don't destroy the thread.

May I ask why do you need new screws?

I've just found the matching screws on Amazon Fr, here they are:

They are 8/32 screws, length 1/2

And to answer your question Pfract, I was looking for screws because I use all 4 rods at the same time to save time and avoid screwing in and out each time.

I'll add my experience to this..... Don't over tighten these little screws because you can crack the plastic that they screw into. Just a gentle turn will do it to keep the rods secure.
