Hi All!

34/Male here

Seeking some help here to avoid catastrophizing- been pretty depressed the last few weeks thinking my penis is going to shrink into nothing and bend until it's useless.

I'll get to it;

-6 weeks ago during sex I heard a pop sound in my penis- pain immediately.

-Morning erections vanish, pain, and a lump appeared above my penis base

-I avoid all erections for the first few days

- See urologist, he doesn't think cause for concern, I get ultrasound (Non-erect)

-they see the bumps, but no penis fracture, and says no penile plaques, he suggests a broken blood vessel and maybe suspensory ligament strain

-He adopts a wait and see approach

-it's been about 3 weeks since and the lumps are still there

-I know notice a slight upward curve in my penis, maybe about 10 degrees or so

-My erections look odd, maybe smaller, less full.

-Attempted light sex last week, pain in certain positions, almost feels a bit numb, sore afterwards.

...I don't know what to do.

I've been taking 5mg cialis daily, but what good is that really?

I feel like if I have any chance of reversing this or healing I've got to act now.

Since i'm only 6 weeks into this I have some questions for you all;

-Do I attempt VED? Order a RestoreX? Make an appointment with Dr Trost in Utah?
The antioxidant protocol?

-Can regular scar tissue that is cleared as it's supposed to be- cause this bending-temporarily?

-If he didn't find any plaques why is my penis bending?

-Have any of you gotten back to a good sex life, able to get inches back, etc?

Thanks all...

Welcome to the forum GodHelpUs. Sorry to hear about your incident.
The first thing I would say is that if you have the means to travel to see Dr Trost I would recommend it. First is that if Xiaflex would be a form of treatment plan for you he is the only one I would choose to perform it.

Cialis is a good choice for helping with healing and erections also reducing inflammation. You have caught this very early and time is of the essence.

VED and traction do have their place in effective treatments and everyone responds differently - you will only know if you try. Yes you can regain back some if not all of lost inches and size. Heat therapy has also been proven to reduce pain and facilitate healing.

As far as scar tissue goes it can dissipate in size but your Dr said that you do not have any? I am wondering where the bend is coming from if not scar tissue?

Finally keep a clear mind and perspective on this and a treatment plan. Anxiety will also do a lot of damage as it has to a lot of us here. Peyronies treatments are something that takes  time and patience. This is a marathon and not a sprint.

If you have access to Dr Trost, which I assume you have then I would look to book an appointment with him ASAP. He is one of the most leading experts in the world when it comes to this disease so you should definitely try get an appointment and see what he says.

This is my question also! He didn't see any plaques.. but what's causing the bend then? and there is some flacid hour-glassing maybe 20% of the time

Can regular scar tissue eventually go away?
