Lately I've been starting to do very long walks again. When I do these walks outside I reflect a lot. Thought this might be important to share for newer members on here or just anyone who does not have a lot of knowledge around the disease. Many people automatically assumes that Peyronies means a sharp bend or curve but forget that this disease can present itself in different ways as well. Having Peyronies doesnt necessarily mean you have to have a curve, it could present itself as narrowing/dents and other symptoms.

At my last visit with the urologist who is known as one of the leading Peyronies experts in my country I showed him a picture of my current state and it turns out my curve was congential however the narrowing I have on the right side has caused it to lean more towards the right than it used to. All these years I thought my curve was caused by the disease but it seems I have always had it but when my penis was symetrically even it naturally looked more straight whereas the dent I have now makes it look more ''crooked''

Thought this might be good to share so that people know that you can have just narrowing and dents and it can still be Peyronies and that a curve is not a ''must'' to diagnose the disease.

Usually the banana shape curves are always congential whereas sharp bends that kinda make the penis look broken are the true Peyronies curves. A good way do differentiate the two I think.

Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

Good post! I will add that walking is an excellent form of exercise and gets the blood flowing and burns calories and gets our mind off of things for a while. Peyronies affects our psyche immensely and that part must be dealt with in addition for healing the physical part.

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely try to keep up the walking as much as I can. I walk at a really fast pace and even so the walk I take will take around 2 to 2.5 hours, it is a really long one. My gym membership went out in July and I didn't renew it. Sadly I do not have the discipline to keep at it in the gym but with walking it is easier.

Just to add I also saw a video with Dr Trost once where he explained men with congenital curves are also more prone to this disease and I have honestly read a lot of cases where men with congential curves develop the disease at some point due to the penis penetrating while curved.

You are so right about the pshycological aspect.
