Hi all, would it be possible to use traction when the plague is very close to or in glans?

I am in acute phase and trying to learn as much as possible. I am waiting on an appointment with another urologist as I have just been told to wait it out for 6-8 months with no other instruction...

Welcome FairShepard to the forum. Thank you for filling out your signature line! Also please download and read the survival guide -->Survival Guide . This will give you more information regarding peyronies.

Before your visit with your Dr you need to study up and make a list of questions to ask him/her. Traction and VED has helped a lot of us here but remember that it takes time and patience. This is a marathon and not a sprint. You should also take some preliminary measurements of your penis. This will give you a baseline for things if changes occur later on. Yes traction can still be used if the plaques are in or close to the glans. The PMP would probably be the device to use in your case because it would not compress the glans to hold it in place. It uses gentle suction of the glans to jeep this taught. Keep a level mindset about this and you will make it through.

Hi.
How close is it to the glans, when your penis is stretched? When it is just beneath the glans you can use restorex. Do a search here. Especially in the section of doctor Trost who invented the Restorex.
60 years old. Peyronie disease since 2020. Upward curve 30 degrees. Thick calcified plaque, dorsal, just beneath glans. 2cm wide, 1cm long. No ED. Except soft glans.

My original urologist's description says "proximal" to glans. I haven't been able to palpate it myself to know exactly where it is unfortunately. From my point of view it is just the glans curving.

I had a virtual consult with someone from Trost's practice and they still recommended RestoreX along with low dosage Viagra daily for bloodflow.

I'm still looking into traction. I can see how stretching straight could benefit me given the plaque location, but counter being may be difficult.

I guess the first thing that I need to do is find the plaque to be sure it isn't clamped and thus not stretched?

Any advice is appreciated!

Hey there and welcome aboard! If they recommend restorex, then go for it! The advice is on par with the current guidelines.
