For around 2 years now I have been experiencing pain, I did however previously remember having curvature before but it didnt come with any of the symptoms im experiencing at the moment, such as loss of girth (only when fully erect however), loss of length (around 7.4 to 6.3 now) however the worst symptom is the erection angle not actual penile curvature but the erection angle which I think makes sex basically impossible for me, which sucks considering I literally just recently turned 18 and my sex life is already over. Im also convinced that I have hard flaccid as my penis retracts basically into my body and also makes it very uncomfortable to just walk around. I can also see the scar tissue easily and it seems to be in multiple different places

All my friends around me are having sex and have relationships and knowing that I can never have what they have really has an effect on my mental health and I have suicidal thoughts basically everyday and my main plan is ideally to end my life since there isnt really any cures for this disease except treatments that seem to rarely work and I dont really want to live a loveless life and not be able to have a family and kids. Another matter to make things worse is that I have recently met someone who is basically perfect in every way and to think I cant have a relationship with them makes me want to end things sooner than later too. I've also turned to alcohol to cope which isn't really good and usually makes my mental state much worse especially the day after. I have also developed self destructive behaviors such as self harm and have found it really hard to find joy in anything.

I come from a single parent household and live with just my mum, whom i've told my concerns too as I was overwhelmed and needed someone to tell, she then shrugged it off and said that it's nothing serious and booked me an appointment with a GP who then proceeded to be absolutely clueless and didn't know what peyronies disease even was and I didnt even get referred to a urologist as they couldn't find anything and that was that, I havent bothered seeing a urologist again as I think it would be the same results.

My gosh WDTHTH!  I empathize with your dilemma, but I am astounded by your conclusions.  For you to try to project the future 60 years from now or the worth of your life over the next half of a century is just IMPOSSIBLE.  You have no basis for any of your dire predictions at this point and I frankly don't believe any of them are accurate.

You have a responsibility to find answers, enact solutions, and take responsibility to make life great, whether it seems perfect or not.  All those people you compare yourself to will have their own boatload of problems, most of which you will never know about.

You already know alcohol is not good for you.  Take responsibility and STOP DRINKING.

Your sex life is NOT over.  There are solutions to your issues, but first, we have to identify the issues.

Here are a few questions just to start assessing where you are and where to go from here.

You do not mention how all of this started.
1. Was your penis ever mostly straight?
2. If so, was there an accident or something that changed it?
3. Are your erections firm and lasting?
4. Have you tried traction?

In response to what Hawk has stated - take his advice! Remember that alcohol is a depressant and it will do you no good and contribute to bodily inflammation. You need to put things into perspective and educate yourself more on this matter. You say that there is no cure for this, but there are ways to manage it, and a lot of us here have gone on to live productive, fruitful, fulfilling lives.

1. Was your penis ever mostly straight?
Not that I can remember however, I never had any pain and my actual erection angle was normal and didnt restrict me from anything

2. If so, was there an accident or something that changed it?
I can remember anything that could've caused it

3. Are your erections firm and lasting?
They can be but I think stress from this disease causes an inability to get fully erect sometimes

4. Have you tried traction?
I'm living in the UK which means its difficult to get access to the RestoreX, there are some european alternatives but a lot of people on this forum have talked about them negatively, also im not sure how a traction device would reduce my actual erection angle (not penile curvature angle)

Are you up to posting a photo of your erect penis?  If not, there is no need to explain.  I have been on the forum for almost 20 years and have never posted a photo.  If you are comfortable posting, a picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes.

If you read the survival guide and spent time on the forum, you must know that the VERY WORST scenario is that you would need an implant that would give you a straight functional penis without removing ANY penile tissue.  You're glans and spongiosium would get naturally erect, and you could have sex longer than any guy you know.  So that is ALWAYS THERE AS A FALLBACK POSITION/ ACE IN THE HOLE!

Short of that, I know damn well you can get a Restorex to your address in the U.K.even if you have to have someone else ship it.  If you are a candidate for Xiaflex, that is within your future reach.  You are 18 !  If you need to, you can immigrate to the U.S., work for six months, get insurance, and have the procedure.  It would be less than a year out of your life and an adventure.

I once held an 18-year-old boy in my arms who decided (while drunk) that his life was too messed up, and he shot himself with a shotgun.  I went into the ER with him and helped the staff. (I was a cop at the time).  He died.  I will never forget him.  How badly I wanted to tell him that nothing can be so wrong at 18 that it cannot be resolved into a good life.  NEVER forget that.  Doctors and devices can help your penis, but it is up to you to take responsibility for and fix your mind.  Alcohol, pot, and illegal drugs are an enemy to your mind and your body.

I dont really want to post any pictures. I've seen on this forum already that xiaflex seems to cause more problems than positives and the implant proceedure is very expensive even with insurance im pretty sure. Moving to the US could be something I could do however, but I dont have the money at the moment and most likely won't ever have the money. Moving to the US would also interrupt my current plans of joining the army.

This situation is very annoying considering almost all of my friends around me are having relationships and having sex and im here unable to do anything and they question why.

EDIT

Oh also I forgot to mention im currently talking to a girl who likes me but I think im starting to lose her as shes getting bored because I havent been able to talk to her about anything more than romantic things as I know I wont sexually be able to accomplish anything. If I didn't have peyronies i'd most likely already be with her

One last thing, all my friends around me do drugs, drink and lead mostly unhealthy lifestyles and don't have any problems really. Whereas up to now I have never smoked, drank or ever done any drugs yet im stuck with a non functional penis at 18

There are some expert urologists in Britain. Maybe any one in the forum can tell you who. And then you can ask your doctor for a referral. And if he doesn't want to, register with an other one.

The facts:

1. Xiaflex IS effective, but the biggest factor is the physician doing the injections.  You cannot judge the product because it was used by an unskilled physician any more than you can judge an implant as worthless because a poor surgeon did not know what they were doing.

2. Going to the U.S. for a year does not stop you from joining the army.  The cost is not much IF YOU REALLY WANT TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.

3. There are good surgeons in the UK who do implants.

4. Because your friends do drugs and seem to be OK at this point, it is not an argument for rejecting the advice on drugs and alcohol.  It is probably a reason to find other friends.

5. You did not mention taking steps to get a Restorex

So, we already established that you have a problem that your friends don't have.  Restating that or focusing on that is no help.

You seem to be very good at countering suggestions and giving reasons that nothing will work or why none of the solutions are for you. Since you reject all offered solutions, what is YOUR solution?  Instead of using your mind to think of why nothing will work or thinking about how unfair life is, it is your job to think of solutions and how you can make them happen.  We are here to help with that process.

Finally, you say you have no curve or bend but that it is the angle (presumably of your straight, erect penis) that prevents intercourse.
1. What is the degree of angle?
2. What is the direction of the angle?
3. Are you saying your penis exits your body at an angle?

It does not seem that an angle by itself would prevent intercourse.
If posting a photo is not an option, then take a few photos from different angles and trace them with paper and pencil and post the tracing.

Hawks response right here. Your kindness is worth a thousand words too.

Couldn't have said it better myself to an 18 year old. Words of wisdom right here.

What a horrible situation and memory this must be. I don't know if this is the first time you mentioned this or not but thank you for sharing this tragic moment, so sad indeed. Did not know that you also used to be a cop Hawk. Hope you are doing well!!
