I'm not sure if this is allowed? but i saw this question asked in the general questions area of the forum and i thought it was an interesting question but no one had reacted to it and it seems fitting here.

the question is from user Nemo,

This topic came up over on the FT forum as one of the guys being implanted by Dr. Eid had seen his penis increase in girth by around 3/4 of an inch over the years. This caught my eye, because after my last battle with Peyronie's in 2013-2015, I have seen my girth actually increase, by about half an inch. This is due to my right corpora expanding around the mid section (not at the base or near the glans) sort of in a football shape. To be fair, I was delighted to see an increase in girth, but now I'm quite concerned.

Dr. Eid told this patient that this is most likely due to a loss of elasticity in the tunica, which now balloons out much wider upon erection. He said this can be a challenge when implanting, as the implant (Titan) wants to fill this space, going wider, but unable to become as rigid as it should be. He said something like the LGX would struggle as it's not designed to fill that kind of girth. Thankfully, this poster seems to have had a good result with the Titan though, but with understandable girth loss.

My question is, have any of you experienced this tunica weakening and seen you girth expand over the years? It makes me very nervous, as I would assume this puts me at a greater risk of penile fracture if that area of the corpora is now weaker (or maybe loss of elasticity doesn't equate with loss of strength, I don't know).

Any experience, guys?

Thanks,
Nemo

Is an implant always an option? are some penises too weak for an implant?  :-\

Wow, very interesting question.

I can only speak of my experience.

I had a modified nesbit surgery to fix my hinge, hourglass, and bend. It fixed all I mentioned, but I lost almost 1.5 inches in length and about 1 inch in girth.

The Titan implant restored most of my length, but more importantly it restored and gave me more girth. Since it appears that most women enjoy girth more than length, this was a win win.

I never experienced an increase girth from my penis break.
I think it's cool your penis got thicker, but I too would worry about a break. It will be interesting to read if anyone else has experienced the same as you.

Wait, I have an old friend that told me last Christmas he had broke his penis and it was a mess. He had a very football shape penis. I remember this as one time, we shared a girl in my younger years and I remember thinking how fat his penis was in the middle. I haven't talked with him recently, I'll have to check in with him and see how he is doing.
