Glad to be part of this group. I noticed a left kink in my penis about a month ago and have now been assessed and diagnosed with peyronies, 30 degree left.

I'm 53 and live in the UK. I went to see Mr Amr Raheem and he advised the following:

Management plan Daily tadalafil 5mg & Tamoxifen
Monitor hormones 4 weeks
Vacuum pump therapy
Restorex
LESWT 12 sessions ED & Peyronies Disease protocol

I have slight pain during intercourse.

From reading your posts I'm not sure if LESWT is worth trying or another harley st gimmick? So far I've decided to get yhe pills and ordered the restorex machine. Not sure about taking the tamoxifen or using the VED pump any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome Lawro to the forum. The first line of business is for you to download and read our survival guide -->Survival Guide. This will give you an understanding of teh treatments surrounding peyronies. Then could you please fill out your signature line -->Signature Line. This gives other members a quick g;ance to your condition.

You are wasting your money on the shockwave therapy and the many who have tried it quit after the first session. I would also not do the Tamoxifen. It will block the estrogen feedback in your endocrine system and possibly increase your testosterone but it can cause more trouble than it is worth. You should have your free testosterone checked  along with your estradiol (E2) if you suspect you are having low T problems. It is true that low testosterone is a contributing factor in developing peyronies disease and should be evaluated if suspected.

Educate yourself on the VED therapy as it has helped a lot of us when you follow the protocol posted here and not over pumping. Traction therapy also helps a lot of us. The two devices here are the Restorex and the Penimaster Pro. Daily tadalafil will help with erections and provides fresh oxygenated blood to your penis. Also taking some preliminary measurements of your penis can be a valuable tool if things change.
