Hello everyone,
I'm new here so i wanted some advice. I'll tell you my full story before I continue on with my issue.
I've always had some trouble with my erections, even as a teen which i'm assuming is due to maybe masturbation or porn although not sure. I could achieve an erection but not maintain it properly. Things have fluctuated since then and in the past year or so i've been more sexually active. Can maintain an erection although i would sometimes have sex while not 100% erect.
About 4-5 months ago, while having sex i would feel a discomfort on my right side. Since then I have developed two bands on my right side (soft) and close to one another. They're visible (only when semi-erect) but have caused no curve in the past 4 or 5 months nor any pain since then. They just are there and aren't noticeable when erect, but do cause a small indentation (kind of like a canal when hard).
About a week ago while having sex I jammed my penis and felt a sharp pain but didn't lose my erection, nor had and bruising or swelling. I did have a numb pain in the days following. Went to a urologist, eho performed an ultrasound while flaccid and he found no damage to my tunica or any sign of trauma. Said its probably a contusion and to just let it rest.
Now i have trouble getting and maintaining an erection and have some hourglassing when semi erect. When i do get an erection the shape is the same its always been.
But now, i have sometimes a slight sharp pain in the area where the two bands are. They haven't changed in shape or structure but i'm worried they could cause peyronie's disease.
I'm thinking of going to a doctor to request some medication while its early before they maybe calcify, if they do at all.
Worried about the ED, worried ab the semi erect hourglassing and firmness od my flaccid penis, and worried about the bands getting calcified.
Any advice on what I should do? Very worried
To note: i have woken up a few times during the night with an erection, which seems perfectly fine, so idk what is causing my issues.

Probably not Peyronies. It is very hard to understand what you mean by ''hard bands'' A picture would be helpful. Since it has caused no curve I doubt it is Peyronies. Although in some rare cases only narrowing is seen as a symptom so you never know. You need to keep an eye on how your full erection looks like. When you start noticing deformities/differences there it's time to start thinking about Peyronies. As long as it's only semi erect you see these things but with full erection it's like always then don't worry too much.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

Its hard to define them. They're soft when i'm flaccid and aren't noticeable when i'm erect (just fade with the rest of the erect structure). They're clearly visible and palpable when i'm semi erect. I can't remember having them like a year ago, or maybe I did but never noticed. The first time I did notice was about 4-5 months ago with no change since then. I'm worried about them becoming possibly calcified though, as I've seen some members mention that in other posts. (If they're plaque at all)

On an other note i still feel a dull pain in my penis, right side where the trauma was a week or two ago, and a rare, quick sharp pain kind of like in my urethra but to the right. Even tho the urologist saw no damage to my tunica via ultrasound it feels like the pain is internal, almost like its in my urethra. I'm thinking of goig for a second opinion next week at a different urologist. I'm super scared i may have damaged something. Have been abstaining from masturbation out of worry of making things worse.

Thank you for the reply Sonic, I appreciate your feedback greatly :). I'll post a picture tomorrow.

Welcome to the forum Confusedguy. The first thing you need to do is to download and read our survival guide -->Survival Guide. Then you need to fill out your signature line -->Signature Line . This gives other members quick information as to your condition and will give you a better member response to your questions.

The part about having sex while not 100% erect can cause some micro damage in some individuals which can bring on the symptoms of peyronies. Pain is an indication that needs to be evaluated and I would go to another urologist for a second opinion. If you can find a peyroneis specialist that is where you need to go. Have you thought about the idea of pelvic issues causing this?

Also getting on Cialis can help facilitate healing and reducing inflammation. I have also used with success heat therapy to reduce pain. Worrying and stress are the number one erection killers. Plaque turning into calcification does not happen to a lot of us with peyronies so I would dismiss that idea of that happening to you.

You need to study our survival guide and make a list of questions to ask your next Dr. You should also educate yourself on VED therapy and traction. Have you also taken any measurements of your penis? This can be a valuable tool if you do loose any length or girth.

I'll definitely to to a different urologist once my private health insurance gets approved (prob by next week). There is a doctor in a private clinic that is a male fertility specialist and has done surgery and treatment for peyronie's, so i'll try to get an appointment with him through my insurance.
I do think i may be suffering from some pelvic issues as the penile pain is intermittent and only on one side at the base/glans ~ very low and dull along the shaft, right side. I've also noticed that my flaccid penis is a bit more sunken within my body and more rubbery. I'll definitely ask the urologist to do a doppler utltrasoun while erect and bring up any pelvic floor concerns. Maybe even get a PT specialist.
I've read the survival guide like twice and i'll probably add my signature once I get a better diagnosis.
Currently started taking vitamin E and have been walking a lot. Changed up my diet too (leaning towards whole foods/a more mediterranean diet) and want to start swimming. I'll definitely ask for cialis when I see my doctor as you need a prescription for it in my country.
Hoping all is fine
