Anyone not get morning wood?

It just occurred to me that, despite not masturbating or using porn for an entire year (have since relapsed), I pretty much never woke up with morning wood. I had 1 wet dream during that time. I am now wondering if the absence of morning wood was part of the cause of peyronie's, as my penis wasn't getting good blood flow from regular errections. Also, I am wondering if the absence of morning wood was the result of some deeper issue (depression, pre diabetes) that may have been a factor in the development of peyronie's.

For the record, during my spell of noFap I did edge somewhat often while fantasizing. And I went on a date with a girl who I brought home and kissed, which got me absolutely rock hard. So my penis was functioning, but didn't develop spontaneous erections.

Anyone else not get morning wood before developing peyronie's? Any thoughts on the significance of this?

Thanks!

Hello pal. Yes I also suffer from this and have been for probably the past 2 years. Used to wake up rock hard every morning. Since getting Peyronies it was still mostly hard every morning but with time I started getting them much less and now I wake up hard maybe 2 times a a week. Depression can definitely have an impact on morning erections, there are studies showing this.

Nofap/Noporn part you mentioned happens to me too. Before Peyronies if I would go on No Fap just 7 days I would get frequent very hard erections spontaneously, also wet dreams would occur regularly if I abstained from masturbating. Now I almost never get spontaneous erections anymore, nor do I ever get wet dreams. I have to abstain for maybe 30+ days now to get a wet dream.

Wish I could tell you why this is but none of the urologists I visited ever gave me any clarity regarding this so I'm lost...

I should have gotten a VED the moment I noticed my morning wood started to diminish. I've probably lost permanent girth now due to not having them. I will probably get a VED soon but I've done too much damage.

Significant thing to think about is that when you go long enough without morning/nocturnal erections you will lose both girth and length that's just a fact. The nocturnal erections are vital for penile health. Go long enough without them and you will both lose size and erectile quality due to atrophy and fibrosis.

Hey Sonic I've read some of your post and you seem pretty knowledgeable.

Im new to the forum and wanted to see what opinion is on the photos I took of my thing.

I've always had an upward left leaning curvature but over the last year or two it seems it has gotten worse, im so fed up with the flaccid pain.

In retrospect, I can also confirm that I've had almost no morning wood since I've had peyronie. maybe even before that. the cause is not known to me. Of course I'm stressed, work too much and live unhealthily - but no more or less than before.
i will try to experiment if i can get an erection again by changing my lifestyle.

do you have any ideas what to try first? and what second? as third?

Interesting, I'm taking that now. How much do you take? And how long until it started to help? Idea of why it helped?

Another thought I had is maybe the fact that I'm a front sleeper played a role. I only sleep on my front so maybe my body has trouble getting erect in that position? Or maybe it did get erect and the fact that I was on my front resulted in damage? Anyone have any thoughts regarding front sleeping?

Front sleeping is very bad for your back, if nothing else.

Hello,

Before Peyronies Disease I used to have morning erections three or four times a week.  I was still having them up until September of last year.  I had a Doppler in January which revealed a vein wasn't working.  Been on Tadalafil for about six months now I literally have an erection every morning especially in the last two months.  In that time I even had a wet dream!  That hasn't happen in forever.

How old are you?  Back in September my PCP told me "you're getting older, it's not always gonna be there in the middle of the night and morning."
I have a girlfriend
Age 48, No injury
Diagnosis January 2022
Six plaques
Hourglassing when flaccid and semi-erect
Only have my congenital curve
Massaging with vitamin E cream twice a day
5mg Tadalafil, Healthy diet
Discomfort/aching sometimes

Seems like front-sleeping was possibly a factor in my onset. It MIGHT have caused damage due to NTEs and rolling onto them while asleep. It was pretty painful, enough to wake me every night, for about a week until things settled into the Peyronies Disease routine.

So do you refrain from sleeping on your front now?

I'm 34, I'll update my signature. I've been noticing some nocturnal erections for the first time in a long time, probably from the supplements I'm taking: carnitine, arginine, citrulline, pine bark, Coq10 and some others. But I'm also doing traction and VED so maybe that's playing a role as well.

Glad to hear you're getting results from Tadalafil. Did you get that prescribed from a urologist? I have yet to see one.

You're a lot younger, before Peyronies Disease is was still happening for me.

Yes, my uro prescribed me the Tadalafil.  I just had a follow up last week he gave me six months more.  I believe it helped my shoulder issue I was having and he agreed it can absolutely help.  Some on here been been to 3 or 4 uros.

I was never a front-sleeper. My suspicion that I'd rolled onto some rock-hard erections on my stomach was while I was sleeping. Just a guess though.
