PMP Frenulum area edema???

Hi

Struggling with the PMP causing pretty bad edema of the area of rear foreskin above the frenulum (where the glans starts to become the foreskin). Coming out of the PMP the area is significantly swollen - enough that I can't roll my foreskin back for at least 10 minutes and it's quite uncomfortable.

The next day, the area is dry and sore, and I worry I'm going to do damage.

Wondering if I'm going into the device wrong, or if there's anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Pea sized lube inside the sluice and on the glans, push all the air out of the bulb, twist, push my penis head against the opening and then release the pressure from the bulb. This sucks the head all the way in, including some foreskin which I then have to work to release before stretching out - but I can't release the rear foreskin... is there a better way of "entering" the device?

Thanks

You describe everything correctly as to how to put on the glans chamber. Yes it sounds like you are doing everything right. It may just be a matter of your body/skin adjusting to it. I had blistering on my glans when I started using the device and it took about 2 to 3 weeks for this to heal and stop appearing. I also was worried about permanent damage but everything went back to normal. It comes down to only having your glans inside of the chamber - any other skin will get swollen.

Thanks Mikel7 - it's only this specific area that is troublesome, but it's quite alarming. The rest of the glans is fine. I wouldn't call this blistering but more of a fluid build up under the skin.

I just wish this wasn't a marathon. I've already clocked nearly 30 hours in this wretched thing and so far zero change apart from better flaccid hang.

My problem area aches for the first hour I wear it, then flattens out at the 2nd hour. I just wish it would flatten out for good!

Based on this entire forum section of traction vs ved it seems traction has the most evidence behind it. I would say 4 months from now you are guaranteed to see results in some form. If you do not see any difference in curve or deformity in 6 months of consistant use you are probably a non responder to traction but I am following your updates with interest.

I had a similar issue. See photos and write-up here: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,19060.0.html?PHPSESSID=b3okv0omp1n9r34pumrn0qf330

Some users had good advice in that thread. I solved for the swollen frenelum by manually pulling the skin out from the chamber after attaching the suction cup. Sounds like you are already doing this, though?

Unfortunately, I'm still having a ton of issues with the device. I'm now on Week 3 and probably 40 hours or in the device. Mostly an enlarged and hypersentitive head and now blisters on the glans.

Just an update if anyone is having similar issues.

The little extra squeeze of the bulb before releasing is actually to remove any air from the rubber parts. Then, going in kinda on the same "angle" as the glans chamber means things get distributed a little more evenly.

Still get some swelling in that area, but much less.
