Traction question

My urologist put me on Pendox and Cialis to try and stop the active phase from getting worse.  He said restore-x didn't do much alone but was great if you had the xiaflex shot.  He said he didn't see much benefit to using it alone or doing manual traction.   Does the board have an opinion which would be better to try.  I am worried about maybe hurting myself, would it be worth trying either one or nothing.  Thank you

There isn't just "1 thing" that corrects Peyronies. I think trying a multiple approach is best. I know Dr. Levine used to recommend shots along with traction.

I'd do nothing until your dick stops hurting. Be careful with sex and stop masturbating.

You can always do injections and traction after the pain.

Stay the hell away from the ALTERNATIVE section or any other post that recommends anything unconventional. Trust me, I know from experience.

Yeah my dick doesn't really hurt thankfully.  What is the alternative section... thanks for the tip.  I'm just using pentox/cialis and maybe starting on restorex

What is the alternative section...

The alternative board was intended for potential therapies for treating Peyronies. But many of these are unproven and experimental. And so far I don't know of any of them that have helped, and in some cases, the "treatments" made things worse for some members here.

Bought the restorex and it's coming tomorrow.  Any tips.  It seems like maybe it's helped the curve a bit on some people.  Does it loosen up the plaque at all to make the curve less severe, is that how it works?  THanks

Exactly. You want to stretch/loosen the area with plaque to hopefully relax the curve.
