Qs for guys with implants (I could not find in journals)
« on: July 10, 2022, 03:59:31 AM »

Im seriously considering the implant route, my condition has had ups n downs (has gotten better and worse). Unfortunately, I don't have access to a high volume surgeon. The surgeon I would choose here is quite well known and has  good reviews, there is also one member on FT who has had an implant done by him and regained his pre-peyronies length and girth. I would go for the titan. This surgeone uses both Titan and AMS.

Curvature is about 20 degrees left and up, but have weak erection and major loss of girth and multiple dents (biggest issue). I don't hav any calcified plaque, only scar tissue, my Erectile Dysfunction is moderate - with Viagra I can perform, although some position are difficult and I must be cautious. Pain is only at the right top side dent and sometimes improves with regular VED usage.

I've just recommenced VED after a long break and starting traction again, some days I feel like my conditions gotten better, other days I feel like it's the same.

A few Qs please guys:

1. I have multiple dents, some teaspoon like deep on both right, left top n bottom of the shaft (most prominent is on the underside)- how likely is it that an implant will fill these?

2. I have some urinary incontinence (dribble) and also my semen will just dribble out instead of squirting out, all this started after peyronies  - how likely is it that this will be fixed or has anyone had any experience with this pre/post implant?

3. Most members here have a very positive experience with implants, how many of you are aware of bad experiences?

4. At my age (33), where I could probably have sex (cautiously) atm and am responsive to viagra, keeping in mind that in the past VED and traction has helped  - would you opt for an implant or wait?

5. I have varicose veins on my shaft and scrotum (not varicocele), there's a thick vein that effects my shaft which you can see here: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,18028.0.html  They do seem to weigh my erection down to one side and cause discomfort). Would this affect the implant?

My apologies if some of these Qs may be appropriate for a urologist - I don't have access to reputable Doctors, so the information you guys give is very valuable and appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for your post.
I can only tell you about myself and my results.
1. The cylinders filled my dents. When I have pumped to the max and fully inflated I have no dents.
2. I have had no urinary issues, except for that of growing older, lol
3. I had my implant at 65, but I wish I had it when I first experienced Peyronies. It would have saved me years of uncertain sex, emotional issues, and decrease in my sex drive.
I struggled for years, Viagra I worked sometimes, but I couldn’t always maintain an erection. Sex was complicated and always seemed to be a psychological challenge, which was a vicious cycle of uncertainty.
Now my penis gets rock hard and there is never any thoughts about can I perform. Sex is great! Also if you cum before your partner, your penis stays rock hard until you deflate it. In other words, you can have sex as long as you want. My spouse prefers to climax after me, but I can continue to thrust with my penis until they climax. …or just keep going until they climax multiple times.
4.veins on penises, interesting you would think it’s bad. I have had various friends gay and straight tell me, they think veins on a penis is hot! I have one slightly protruding vein and my spouse thinks it’s hot.
In summary I personally believe that Had I gotten an implant sooner than trying viagra, Cialis, and shots into my penis, I would not have lost length.
The implant totally restored my girth and gave me an additional 1/2 inch over my original girth. I love my new penis and sex hasn’t been this good since I was in my 30’s and 40’s.  It is different, but my climaxes are amazing.
Hope this helps

I do NOT think an implant will improve your urinary stream or ejaculation.  I also doubt it is caused by Peyronies Disease and think it is more likely to be an enlarged prostate, prostate infection, or an unrelated stricture in the urethra.

The implant is very likely to immediately fill out ALL dents, especially a Titan.

I do know of negative experiences.  One member had at least three surgeries before having a satisfactory implant.  Two others were undersized.  The surgeon is EVERYTHING,

I do NOT think the veins will have an impact on the surgery.

To get one now or wait.  That is the critical question.  I would wait IF I could get good erections with oral medications.  It would likely mean one less revision in your life.

Thanks Hawk,

I have had my prostrate and all urinary infections and everything checked. There’s a small amount of dribbl which happens after peeing which slowly improves with VED usage. As for semen dribbling after orgasm, the urologist believes that it’s from the scar tissue which doesn’t allow a strong enough erection for the semen to squirt out.

I read that if scar tissue is in the tunica, an implant will not fix the deformity. I do not know how true that is.

With viagra I can maybe have slow missionary but this causes pain, my erection is just bendy n deformed. Masturbating just causes more pain and aggravates the dents. So my sex life is non-existent.

I just booked for a consultation with Australia’s leading implant surgeon, I’m just scared I’ll get the implant, dents won’t fill and I’ll be back at square one.

Hawk, it’s good to know that the member who has a negative experience was still able to get a satisfactory implant even 3 surgeries later.

Hawk - I’ve been trying to get an answer out of SonnyJim to no avail but how is it that his dent never filled after the implant ? This is my main concern. And thank you so much for responding.

An important reminder with any surgery.
We are living creatures with many abnormalities.
An implant will not fix all of them, but when I pump my penis to max, I have no dents. I have a few slight ridges of skin as I have never had a smooth penis as some men do. I always thought the more veined or irregularities, the more feeling would be felt by the spouse.
I have never used a ribbed condom, lol, but I guess the spouse would experience more sensations.

Jj

I have a similar issue with ejaculation but this is due to retrograde ejaculation which I have had for years , way before the implant.

Interestingly I do now occasionally get a dribble which I haven’t had for years, but this is unrelated to the implant I think and probably more to do with my diabetes being well controlled and stronger bladder muscles, although given the reservoir is right by the bladder it might to connected, who knows .

Thanks Jimmi, I've been tested for retrograde I beleive. The only explanation I received from the urologist regarding my dribble was that the erection is not strong enough. As for the incontinence, it seems it could be due to scar tissue, it somehow improved after months of VED usage.

Jimmi - If you haven't already, consider banking sperm - I heard infertility can be an issue for retrograde ejaculation (I could be wrong).

Thanks again,
J
