Hello all,

It seems I have Peyronies Disease, I am 36. Been diagnosed in the Netherlands. Urologist has just said come back to see him in 3 months to see where we are at. I've had pain for about 8 months, physical changes started happening 3 months ago, but it's not so bad now. The tip of my penis now bends a little to the left but it's also not too bad. My main concerns are the tip staying mostly soft and unable to control when I ejaculated too well. I used to have a very good looing rock hard penis that I could use for hours and control when I ejaculated with no issues. Now the end stays mostly soft and I think because of that I find it hard to control. I don't have a regular partner but last time I had sex I came more or less straight away which never happens.. Is there anything I should be doing to help restore flow to the tip, do they do surgery to help this? I also seem to have lost my sex drive, I think because I'm not really getting proper spontaneous erection anymore. My urologist prescribed me daily tadalafil which helps a bit, but rarely do I wake up with a full morning erection.

Thanks

Hey Lordwilko. Welcome aboard!

It sucks.... that's what this disease is... I was going to say for you to try ED medications to help with your erections but it seems that you are already on daily cialis. That is good. What dosage tho? You can also combine it with L-argigine. Both of them are a safe combo recommended by doctors. There are also some medications you can try if your PE persists.

As for Peyronies and how to manage it here is what the most up to date info says: https://malefertilityandpeyroniesclinic.com/peyronies/treatments/

Be sure to read it up as well as the other resources on the website. It is very informative and accurate. Taking quick action and monitoring your penis regularly from progression of the disease is key here.

Please also read the survival guide and update your signature. Thank you

I think premature ejaculation and lack of desire are likely caused by anxiety. Anxiety also kills erections (because it produces adrenalin, a chemical erection killer), which probably contributes to weaker erections. A urologist who says let's wait and watch it progress is useless. You need a doctor specializing in Peyronies Disease or men's sexual health.

There is no safe/effective surgery for weak erections except an implant. However, a VED and Traction and daily Cialis might help.

I agree with Hawk that the premature ejaculation is likely anxiety, not Peyronie's. There's really no way (that I can see) that Peyronies Disease would cause PE. In fact, if your glans is softer than normal (I suffer this too), that would tend to make it less sensitive, not more. So, I think you're probably very concerned, which is triggering the PE.

I suspect if you give it some time, you'll adjust and soon be back to your normal abilities. I've dealt with a softer glans for years, and it's no big deal.

Hi all, sorry I have been away. Thanks for your responses.

I am using 5mg daily tadalafil. But still do not really notice getting erections, I don't think i've had a morning one for a while. The PE seemed to be a one off ( I hope). But not that I 've had much sex since this as my sex drive has now gone very low since the past few months) I am unsure if this is due to physical changes or some mental thing.

I am trying to find a goo dedicated clinic in Europe but its hard to work out which are genuinely good and which are just preying on desperate men.

Has anyone heard of or had experience with this UK clinic? https://www.peyroniesdisease.co.uk/

That is shockwave therapy.  Shockwave for Peyronies Disease has been around for over a decade.  I have never seen anyone on the forum in almost 20 years that claimed significant curve correction and several who reported worse.

You might want to read this assessment from one very reliable source. -->  https://malefertilityandpeyroniesclinic.com/2020/08/summary-of-shockwave-therapy-in-the-treatment-of-peyronies-disease/

I see. I think they claimed to have various methods. But Think I'll stay away. I've spoken to two Urologists whop both say that you just have to wait until it stabilises.

I now have the following which I am taking daily.
tadalafil
l-arginine
l-carnitin
blackseed oil

Looking at your signature line, I don't think we discussed low sex drive.  Like PE, that cannot result from any physical connection to Peyronies Disease.  Peyronies Disease is scar tissue on the tunica where none is needed to heal a wound.

The low sex drive is either psychological from what you are allowing Peyronies Disease to do to your mind, OR it is low testosterone (T).  While Peyronies Disease cannot cause low "T,"  Low T is suspected of having a role in Peyronies Disease.  I suggest you have your T levels checked.  If it is low, consider trying natural ways to increase your T before going on T replacement therapy.  Some natural herbs increase T, and lean body mass helps increase T, as does heavy weight training of large muscle groups (high weight/low rep), squats, deadlifts, etc.

Again, like the PE, the Erectile Dysfunction might be all just from letting the Peyronies Disease control your mind.  Fixing your mental perspective is at least half of the battle with Peyronies Disease.  The good news is that it is the half you can gain total control over.

Good Luck.

I disagree. I do believe Peyronie's can cause pre mature ejaculation. Not directly per say but because we are not getting the erectikns we are used too and it is harder to stay erect we kegal more voluntarily and involuntarily causing us to pre maturely ejaculate.
