Surgeon in Europe, who is the best ?
« on: July 29, 2021, 12:45:39 PM »

Hello Everyone,

I had 3 times surgery for a congenital curvature in my life. The last one was in 2010 by Dr FAIX in France.

It didn't succeed as I still have a curvature, but also a big pain during intercourses (I do not have anymore) and two deformities (bumps) where the stitches are (perpetual ones).

As I do not want to contact him anymore, I just gave up. But after this long time, I decided to search a new surgeon in Europe (as I live in France).

So I contacted Dr Kuehhas in Austria (I saw that he made some medical articles in collaboration with Mr Egydio from Brazil). I had a phone call from him (15 minutes for 100€) and explained everything also by email.

He told me the stitches were over nerves and after seeing my pictures, he told me he was able to fix it.

There is a first interview at his office the day before the surgery then 2 more visits the two days after. The price is 9000€ without flight and motel in Vienna.

However, I red different reviews on him here and his secretary told me that I had to pay in cash because it was their foreign policy.

This is very strange as customs can ask me from where this money comes and I'm not safe from theft.

My appointment is on September but I wonder if there was another good surgeon you know in Europe I can contact.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi man!

I'm writing you in English but I'm French too!
You can read my story, I had my surgery with Faix and he failed me too...
I don't know how he behaved with you but he is a very unpleasant person...

Who are the other surgeons who did the other 2 surgeries for you? In France surgeons are clowns.....

I'm looking into going abroad as well, and for the moment Gelman in the USA is my number 1 choice because he is a specialist in revision surgery, I'm waiting for the situation with Covid to calm down

I don't recommend Kuehass, there have been many mishaps on this forum with him.

I look forward to talking with a Frenchman! I know another guy who had his surgery with Faix, his dick is straight but he has internal pain...

We can talk if you want!

Well your story recalls mine a lot. I also had previous surgeries before getting to Kuehhas, which he was supposed to take the permanent stitches off and also correcting the curve I still had. Well in the end he didn't do neither of them and he left me with big Erectile Dysfunction issues.

That being said, be aware that adding surgery on surgery multiplies your chances to get Erectile Dysfunction, no matter the surgeon is, so proceed slowly.

penile surgeries are completely safe under skilled hands. u can go to kuehhas in september for surgery but let me tell u something. I guarantee u 100%100 that u will end up with a dysfunctional penis that has curvature, narrowing, sensation loss, big metal sutures.

after surgery with kuehhas, ur penis will turn from a health spongy organ into a useless bone, I had surgery with kuehhas in 2018 and my complications are complete erectile dysfunction, severe curvature, narrowing, loss of axial rigidity, non absorbable sutures on my penis without my consent, sensation loss, pain from metal sutures, constant discomfort etc....

simple things in life like eating food and sleeping at night will be hard as well. constant pain from kuehhas non absorbable sutures will make u think of suicide.

franklin kuehhas is not affiliated with any university and hence not monitored by anyone. he will play with ur penis and insert his painful metals into ur penis and then u will get stuck.... u cant complain about kuehhas cuz he is not associated with any entity like a university.

i had a functional penis before going to kuehhas but now after his surgery, I dont even have a penis!

by the way, u dont have to believe my story, u can go in september and try it out!

Hello Alex,

Yes, I read your story. As you mentioned, Faix is a little bit arrogant.

He told me pu stitches more deeply inside in order to correct my curvature.....without success at all.

I have a big pain as stitches are still there (non absorbable) and I do not have a strong axial rigidity.

My previous surgeons were :

- one in Albi, several years ago (1997/1998). Few days after the surgery, the stitches broke during an erection. I had a big pain and the curvature still there.

- one in Toulouse Rangueil (2007), a "professor" in french terminology. He was not really motivated to make the job. Two weeks after the surgery he had to make another one because of an infection. He removed my foreskin and since then I lost sensations.

Don't remember their name (I have to check my old files). Sorry for that.

The last one was Faix in Montpellier in 2010.

As you already said : they are clowns about this kind of surgery.

I had some intercourses during the last 10 years but without a real pleasure as there is big internal pain, loss of sensation, not good rigidity and, of course, the shame of my nakedness.

I have known Dr Joel Gelman from this forum today. As I have family in LA, I can go there whenever I want.....but the price (18,000$ ???) is really too much expensive !!!

As french, it's a pleasure to talk to you ;)

Hello Jack,

Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm really sorry for you.

I know it's risky. This is why, in my opinion, we need to find the best one.....even each case is unique.

Do you plan to make another surgery somewhere else ?

Hello John,

Thank you very very much for your feedback. I believe you and I'm sorry about your story and current state. As I have the same problem, I know how it's difficult to stay positive (few years ago, I gave up). So I try again and hope to find the right surgeon.

Do you plan to make the same from your side ?

John,

Do you know where I can find this information ?

I mean, I read a lot of medical documents written by Mr Kuehhas on official urology websites, so I think he's relevant, no ?

How old are you?

I think that price is not important for a healthy sexuality.

Yes I would like the names of your former surgeons, so I don't have to deal with them 😅 for me and for the others on the forum

u can find this info on this forum and other forums.

apart from kuehhas not being affiliated with any university, he does not have fellowship in sexual medicine, only minimal training.

do u want to have a girlfriend to sleep with? u want to have a woman to have a family with? after surgery with kuehhas, these things will not be possible.

jack1909, kusher, daved2, franklin55, yyy are examples of what can happen to u after surgery with kuehhas.

I am 47. I never ever had a normal couple and sexual life. Sad, right ?

Regarding the first urologist in Albi, he was in a clinic named "Escudié" but it's closed now (replaced by a retirement home). I don't remember his name (was in 1997).

The second one was old and I think he's retired now. But if you want an advise : don't go to "Rangueil" hospital for that.

I don't know if the new team is better, but I'm not confident anymore and I prefer to pay more and meet the right one.

I have to check if I kept the related files but as I was so angry that I wanted to forgot.

You can see the urology team at "Rangueil" from here (my surgeon is not there) :

Thank you John for your details.

I just found that he's member of several urology associations worldwide and had been trained in a London Hospital University :

https://qasmc.com/consultants/mr-franklin-emmanuel-kuehhas/

He has undergone highly specialist fellowship training at University College Hospital London

He also wrote some papers regarding penile surgery with other urologists :

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22110397/

https://www.acpct.com/physicians-curved-penis

On internet the reviews are very good.

I'm not here to defend Dr Kuehhas and after some emails I exchanged with his secretary, I made some researches from my side and saw bad review on this forum.

So I think I'm going to cancel my surgery with him and try to find another one...maybe Dr Gelman, I don't know yet.

Thank you to have put other guy profiles who had bad experience with him ;)

Can we stop Kusher from creating false profiles over and over again just to smear on Kuehheas? Can we stop this guy somehow? He also reached me out on my phone number just to bother me. Dude, at least make yourself a cover your meassages are all the same..

That being said, I don't think in Europe doctors are affiliated with universities, it's more like an american thing. I won't address Kuehhas though. He's mediocre to me and he's prone to fail to answer questions

Hello Jack. I'm sorry but I'm not this kusher at all !!

I do not defend Dr Kuehhas at all. In fact, I just doubted after his secretary told me I had to pay in cash 9000€ !!!

So I made some researches on internet and found this forum. Maybe this is his process in case of prosecution for foreign customers ?

Who knows ?

I had a surgery from one of the best french surgeon and it was a failure for me and others here. So, as you already said, there are no reliable surgeons in Europe for our problem.

I'm going to cancel my surgery (planned on September) and gather opinions from other surgeons like Dr Gelman, hoping he will have a solution for me.

Regarding Kuehhas, being a junior doctor (not in Urology) in Vienna I asked senior urologist from the urology department in my hospital (noted for oncologic urology, not penile surgery) about there opionions on Kuehhas - since doctors in smaller specialities tend to know each other.

Opinions on him were generally rather low. He had absolutely no logical sound ways to explain his claimed conservation of penile length in STAGE surgery as opposed to classical Nesbit when presenting his publications in congresses, seemed arrogant and had no interest in taking part in critical discussion. Claims regarding STAGE and conservation of penis length make little sense to me and urologists I've talked to.
If his outcomes are better than other urologists' I would suppose it would be due to surgery volume rather than technique.

Note that the university hospital in Vienna still seems to employ STAGE technique - so there might be something to it.

Was told that he actually got fired from the University Hospital in Vienna (AKH) at some point for trying to divert patients to a private clinic.

Note that this is 100% anecdotal, second hand knwoledge.

My personal experience:

I myself had STAGE surgery with Kuehhas in 2017.
Experienced severe pain after surgery. There was minor length loss. Curvature recurred after about 6 months but to a significantly lower extent. Had Erectile Dysfunction after surgery for some months, but that was due to psychological issues and has resolved.
My penis feels normal, I'm able to have intercourse without pain and good erections these days.

Just wanted to say, i had an operation with Dr Franklin back in 2016. I had i think about a 45 degree downward curve and 15-20 to the left. My dick has remained straight since. I hope it went well for others, maybe i'm one of the lucky ones. Man this feels like a whole life time ago i went through this. All i know is at the time i wanted to avoid nesbit and Dr Franklin seemed the best for congental curvature.

At the time i had no idea there was a chance it could relapse or cause Erectile Dysfunction. Glad i missed that bullet. I mean damn there were years since when i quite aggressively jacked off (not proud of this) and it never slipped back. Hasn't changed since surgery. I would have thought they'd be even better at doing it nowadays. Hope you guys are doing ok.

EDIT: actually looking at my post history i had it done in 2014. So its been 8 years.
holy crap reading some of these testimonies is chilling. I can't believe how bad some peoples results have been. I did go through a period of hard flaccid. Whether the surgery made it worse i don't know. I know people who have that also get Erectile Dysfunction. There's a pelvic pain program which tackles it well called DCT. But i imagine the Erectile Dysfunction you guys get some the operation is more to do with vessels being messed with. The sitches he used on me dissolved like he said they would luckily.

To add also it was actually a collegue of his who he taught who operated on me. Maybe i lucked out with him. I was a bit thrown off at the time spending 9k and suddenly finding out it was another person doing it. I had it done in London. there's a guy called James on the forum who i actually run into while having it done.

WoW you paid 9000€ to do your surgery with Kuehhas and it's not Kuehhas who did the surgery :o , do you know the name of the doctor who did it for him ?

The main thing is that you are fine and that your dick is fine

NB : I sent you the list of the guys who had a failed STAGE with Kuehhas
NB 2: you answered my question here in my private message ;)

Maybe it was me, happy thing turned out to be good for you. I think everbody in here knows my story, and since I had the surgery back in 2014 I can't mantain erections enough to have intercourse. My curvature didn't move a inch, I struggle to hand my penis because of the shape and pain flares up and down following no logical pattern. Well, I was a redo surgery, my case was different, but who ever spend 10k to get out of surgery like this?
The thing I hated the most about the guy was he never clearly answered back to my questions after the surgery was performed. He was all about getting around topics.

straightening surgery don't work, most of people here had relapse and re operating closes you on developing other major issues. Maybe the reason why is still existing is poor recording, people do not speak up, if you ever try to drag a surgeon into a court you wind up being called lunatic best case scenario.

I remember it being an Italian guy i think. He was directly before me and his surgery lasted a lot longer then expected because of extra scar tissue. I ran into him briefly with his family when leaving after a checkup post OP. And yeah i ended up having his trainee do it. I feel sick reading some of the experiences here. At the time Franklin came across as an expert and people on here seemed to think he was one of the best, and the nesbit was to be avoided. I have no idea what the guys name was, i met him when i was in the operating theatre, didn't see him again. Could of been the postman for all i know but he seemed to do a good job. My dick hasn't changed in form since and the sitches dissolved.

I remember Frankling saying he offers operations for Erectile Dysfunction, i'd never of thought that could be a potential risk. I remember he said some people relapse a bit, often the more severe angled cases, but another surgery is done and it fixes it. At the time i was obsessed about my dick size and wanting 7 inches, it went down to a lower size and he did say surgery for increased length is possible. Which i think in hindsight is poor practise even putting that in my mind, i was like 17 or something. I had a perfectly, actually quite large size and here he was mentioning his other 9k service. That said he didn't push it and did say i had a fine size and didn't need it but it was up to me. I thought i was in safe hands given he also does sex change operations, which i saw as seemingly much more advanced.

If you guys have hard/firm flaccid (EDIT: I don't mean peyronies which i believe is a specific hard lump) I would highly suggest a pelvic pain/HF online course which has helped me. I had those issues before the OP. I imagine what caused your Erectile Dysfunction might be a different mechanism, i have no idea. The course uses strength based workouts which breaks up tight muscle and facia, including the bucks facia which sits by the penis which is why it does help people with Erectile Dysfunction/hard flaccid who have had sexual injuries. Just thought i'd mention it if you guys do indeed have that. Wouldn't want to bring false hope but thought i should mention it incase. Penis extenders can cause that, he suggested i use one post OP which i did, gained size and maybe it helped it heal but yeah those things aren't good to use for erectile health for sure.

And Jack, is there anyone else who has a good operation with him? Looking back i had a 45 degrees downward curve (it might have been worse i can't be certain), in hindsight maybe that wasn't bad enough to risk the operation i'm not sure. I mean i was a young kid at the time. I remember he said i run the risk of getting peyronies if i use it for penetration.

Yes it was me, Cadogan Clinic was the place name. Well I won't forget it as my sexual life stopped after that, nice place though :D Not new from the guy, he's so keen to tell basically everyhing you wanna hear even though is completely false, or not scientifical proven. Just a way to pick patients up.

Yep that's the one. I imagine there's lots of dodgy private surgeons along Harley Street which i think is where it was. I googled him, he has mostly high start reviews but you can never really trust those. I'd like to think that the OP does sometimes work and he's not literally butchering 95% of his patients but who knows. There's very little accountability. I honestly thought i was being smart going with him and dodging the nesbit procedure. Panned out for me ok luckily. I do hope there are better options for you guys out there.
